本物品は、手前に引いて開閉するドアに取付ける、把持不要のドアハンドルである。ハンドルに直接、掌や指が接触することなく、ドアを開放できるため、食品工場や医療機関、感染症が流行している状況下など、衛生上対策が必要な場所への設置に適している。ドアを手前に引いて開ける際は、使用状態を示す参考図２に示すように、本物品のアーム部に手首を差し込んだ状態で、手首を手前に引くことで開放される。ドアを開ける過程を順次示すと、使用状態を示す参考図３に示すように、まず、（１）手首をアーム部に掛け、（２）アーム部を手前に引き、（３）ドアがある程度開いたら、手首を返して、手の甲側でアーム部を押しつつ、さらにドアを開き、（４）手の甲側でアーム部を支えながら、ドアとドア枠との間の開口部に体を進入させ、（５）アーム部から腕を抜いて、ドアとドア枠との間の開口部を通過する。また、ドアを奥側から開ける際は、使用状態を示す参考図４に示すように、奥側から本物品を肘や腕などで押すことで開放できる。なお、手前側のドアの表面とアーム部の裏側の間隔Ｘは、一般の成人男性が手首を差し込むことができる幅に設定される。これに対して、奥側のドアの表面とアーム部の裏側の間隔Ｙは、Ｘよりも小さくすることが望ましい。This article is a door handle that does not require gripping and is attached to a door that opens and closes by pulling it toward you.
