A veterinary composition, for combating endoparasites and ectoparasites, and offering an improved pharmacokinetic profile, contains as parasiticide an Avermectin, especially Ivermectin or a Milb emycin, in an amount of from about 0.1 %w/v to 20 %w/v, dissolved in a solvent system containing up to about 75 %v/v of polyethylene glycol and not less than about 25 %v/v glycerol formal.
