My U.S patent 4.955.539 describes a method and apparatus fro converting low continuous flow to a high intermittent and pulsating flow for operating sprinklers, shower heads etc. at low flow. Fluid is introduced at a controlled low flow into a container, the outflow of fluid from the container is restricted by a pressure response normally closed valve until pressure created by the introduction of the fluid is sufficient to force the valve to open, and in response to hydraulic resistance the valve is forced to widely open and the fluid to eject at a high pulsating intermittent flow This invention, which is described also in my PCT/US90/05033 application, relates to apparatuses in which the three basic devices container, valve, and hydraulic resistance, are replaced with an elastic tube which tightly surrounds a rigid insert.
