وصفت التحضيرات لعلاج السيلاريا التي تحتوي على كينازولينون ذات الصيغه العامة(1) حيث ش1 و ش2 لاتعتمد كل منها على الاخر وترمز الى هالوجين مثل فلور ، كلور ، بروم، او برود، ثالث فلوروميثيل، الكوكسي به 1 الى 4 ذرات كربون او ميثيل ع ترمز الى اكسجين، كبريت او مجموعه اوكزيم ( = ت ا يد) ش ترمز الى ايدروكسي او اسيلوكسي به 1 الى 4 ذرات كربون ويفصل اسيتوكسي و ط ترمز الى انيون حمض مقبول فسيولوجيا.
