Abstract

An air conditioning unit (3) comprising a fan (4) and a heat exchanger (5) is placed in a container (2) that is inserted in a cavity in a ceiling (S). A covering rim (8) of the container has two mutually facing longitudinal surfaces (12a,12b) bounding a peripheral delivery conduit (7). The longitudinal surfaces have protuberances (14) to define directional conveying channels (15) of conditioned air (A).
