Abstract

These are self-adhesive labels made of temperature-sensitive material for thermal printers, or in material designed for printing with thermal transfer technology. The adhesive face of the labels is covered with glue which is in turn covered by a special removable protective sheath. Partial cuts are made on the labels, even of varying depth, suitably arranged, so as to maintain the entirety of the label until the time of application: if the removal of the label is attempted, the combined effect of the adhesive and cuts will cause them to break, preventing reuse.These labels are applied wherever you want to avoid their removal for a second unwanted use, both to affix them on surfaces of various physical and geometric nature, following the surface, and to apply them in a ring around handles of suitcases and the like.The claim which consists in the particularity of the labels to be made of material suitable for thermal or thermal transfer printing, with a system of cuts and glue such as to allow only one use of the same label, is claimed. the claim is effective for the above-specified labels in all their forms, as well as for each type and format but cutting on them and type of adhesive applied.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PATENT FOR INDUSTRIAL INVENTION

HAVING BY TITLE:

"DISPOSABLE SECURITY LABELS FOR PRINTERS

THERMAL OR THERMAL TRANSFER ".

These are self-adhesive labels in temperature-sensitized material for thermal printers, or in material designed for printing with thermal transfer technology (point 1). The sticky face of the labels? covered with glue (point n.2) in turn covered by a special protective sheath (point n.

3).

These labels have the fundamental characteristic of possessing partial cuts (point 4) which can be of depth? different depending on the application, suitably arranged, so as to cause the label to break if an attempt is made to remove it.

The cuts are arranged in such a way as to maintain the entirety of the label until the moment of application; sar? then the combined effect of the adhesive and the cuts causing it to break in the event of an attempted detachment.

The invention in question finds application wherever a second use of the same label is to be avoided, in particular:

1) if the labels are to be affixed to surfaces of varying physical and geometric nature, following the surface;

2) if the labels have to be applied around handles (for example suitcases) or other closed-loop parts of any objects.

In this case, the two opposite adhesive edges are brought together on themselves so? to form a kind of ring, without this necessarily having to stick also on the object to which the label is applied.

The glues used will vary depending on the modality? use of the device and possibly the surfaces on which the labels should be applied; however, in such a way that the adhesive force of the glue is always sufficient to cause the label to break in the event of an attempted detachment.
