È noto utilizzare dispositivi di fissaggio a muro per conferire maggiore stabilità a mobili, quali ad esempio armadi, cassettiere, librerie, od altri contenitori d'arredo, ed impedirne eventuali deformazioni, oscillazioni, oppure prevenire che essi, per effetto di trazioni o altro tipo di sollecitazioni, possano cadere e perdere il proprio contenuto, nonché costituire un rischio anche grave per l'incolumità delle persone.
