Si riempie una delle intercapedini (solitamente quella centrale) con un gel antigelo ed antimuffa (FIG. 1 - 2), eliminando le bolle d’ aria. Nelle altre intercapedini (FIG. 1 - 3), viene inserito gas Argon o Kripton o viene creato il vuoto per diminuire il trasferimento termico ed acustico, li manufatto viene quindi sigillato ed è pronto per Γ installazione su infissi adeguati, tipicamente metallici.
