The invention relates to the sector of remittances for cars or vehicles in general.

More in detail, it relates to a garage for cars or vehicles in general provided with a retractable protective cover for parked vehicles.

It is known that only recently built buildings provide for the presence of car sheds obtained from the spaces made available by the conformation of the ground floor or basement of the buildings.

In all other cases there are usually uncovered parking spaces which, while providing a space reserved for parking vehicles, leaves them exposed to the risk of theft or damage, as well as to the harmful action of atmospheric agents.

In a previous patent application for industrial invention filed under N ° RM2008A000589, on 4/11/2008, in the name of the same author of the present application, a garage for cars or vehicles in general, of the non-buried type, is described, equipped with a retractable protective cover for parked vehicles, operated by a motor unit that can be controlled via a remote control.

The box object of the aforementioned patent highlights an important negativity, which can be summarized in the fact that it presents excessive volumes both in the resting phase and in the use phase, such as to represent a potential obstacle to pedestrian and / or vehicular circulation in the vicinity of the box itself. .

The object of the present invention consists in overcoming this important negativity.

The object of the invention is achieved by means of a garage for cars or vehicles in general, according to the main independent claim 1.

Further characteristics of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

With reference to the figures, a box B for cars, or vehicles V in general, according to the invention, essentially comprises:>

- a platform 1, equipped with a perimeter edge 2 raised on each side, in which there is a front area 3, suitable for hosting a parked vehicle V, and a rear area 4, suitable for containing a protective cap 5 for said vehicle V, <in collected position;>

- a protective cap 5, composed of a plurality of movable sections 6, each having a portal shape, of decreasing dimensions from the outermost to the innermost, and opposite ends free to rotate individually on common pins 7 interposed between the perimeter edge 2 of the platform 1 and <special supports 8;>

- a motor unit 9, of the electrically powered type, able to manage the rest and use phases of box B.

<The platform 1 of the aforementioned box B in turn comprises:> - a fixed plate 12, which can be secured to the ground by means of <fastening means 13, of the type with log bolts, bolts and the like;>

- a first movable plate 14, connected at the rear to the fixed plate 12, by means of pins 15, able to rotate on said pins 15 <with respect to said fixed plate 12;>

- a second movable plate 16, connected at the front to the first movable plate 14, by means of pins 17, able to rotate on said pins 17 with respect to said first movable plate 14;

- a third movable plate 18, connected at the rear to the fixed plate 12, by means of pins 19, able to rotate on said pins 19 with respect to said fixed plate 12.

The first movable plate 14 and the second movable plate 16 constitute the front zone 3 of the platform 1, suitable for hosting a parked vehicle V, while the fixed plate 12 and the third movable plate 18 constitute the rear zone 4 of said platform 1, mainly adapted to contain a protective cap 5 of said vehicle V, in a retracted position for non-use.

During the rest phase of box B, the plates 12, 18, constituting the rear zone 4 of the platform 1, both assume an extended position which allows them to contain the aforementioned protective cap 5 inside them, while the plates 14, 16, constituting the front zone 3 of the platform 1, they assume a folded position which allows the protective cap 5 to be completely enclosed under them, as shown in Figure 1.

The folded position of the plates 14, 16 determines an advantageous reduction of the front dimensions of the box B, during the rest phase, and consequently favors the pedestrian and / or vehicular circulation in proximity of the front area of the same.

A first actuation of the motor unit 9 determines a controlled rotation of the movable plates 14, 16 on the respective pins 15, 17, which allows them to assume an extended position, as shown in Figures 2-3, suitable for allowing entry and therefore the parking a vehicle V in the front area 3 of platform 1.

Once the vehicle V has been parked, a second actuation of the motor unit 9 causes the rotation of the mobile sections 6 around the pins 7 and the deployment of the protective cap 5, contained in a collected position in the rear area 4 of the platform 1, in such a way as to isolate the vehicle V from the surrounding environment to prevent theft or damage, or even to protect it from the harmful action of atmospheric agents.

Once the protection cap 5 has been deployed, a third actuation of the motor unit 9 determines a controlled rotation of the mobile plate 18, on the respective pins 19, allowing it to assume a raised position with respect to the fixed plate 12 of the platform 1.

The raised position assumed by the mobile plate 18 determines an advantageous reduction of the rear dimensions of the box B, during use, and consequently favors the pedestrian and / or vehicular circulation near the rear of the same, as shown in figure 4.

Subsequent activations of the motor unit 9 bring box B back to the <initial rest phase, determining in the order:>

<- restoring the extended position of the movable plate 18;>

- the counter-rotation of the mobile sections 6 around the pins 7, the folding of the protective cap 5, and its containment in the rear area 4 of the platform 1, in the <collected position;>

- restoring the folded position of the movable plates 14, 16.

To obtain what has been described, the motor unit 9 is connected to the movable plates 14, 16, 18 of the platform 1 of the box B, by means of known systems for mechanical transmission of the movement (not shown), in such a way as to determine the controlled and reversible rotation of said movable sections 14, 16, 18 on the respective pins 15, 17, 19, according to the signals received by a suitable remote control 10.

The motor unit 9 is also connected to the movable sections 6 of the protective cap 5 of the box B, by means of known systems for mechanical transmission of the movement (not shown), in such a way as to determine the controlled and reversible rotation of said movable sections 6 on pins common parts 7 interposed between the perimeter edge 2 of the platform 1 and suitable supports 8, and the consequent reversible deployment of the same protection cap 5, according to the signals received by the aforementioned remote control 10.

In case of malfunction or in the absence of electricity, the motor unit 9 can also be operated manually, using a special emergency key 11 to release the motor.

At the end of each actuation, the motor unit 9, by means of internal devices, automatically sets itself in a locked state designed to prevent the forced movement of the movable plates 14, 16, 18 of the platform 1 and of the movable sections 6 of the protective cap 5 , which can only be canceled by means of the remote control 10 or the emergency key 11.

<Box B above described may also include:>

- ventilation grilles 20, arranged on the sides of the movable sections 6 of the protective cap 5, designed to prevent <overheating of the vehicle V parked inside it;>

- climatic conditioning means 21, suitable for cooperating with the ventilation grilles 20 to favor the exchange, and / or circulation, and / or refrigeration, of the air inside the protective cap 5 and consequently prevent the < overheating of the vehicle V parked inside it;>

- openings 22, arranged on the front of the movable sections 6 of the protective cap 5, designed to keep the vehicle plate V visible to make it possible to be identified by the <legitimate owner or authorities;>

- alarm devices 23, of the acoustic and / or luminous type, capable of signaling the movement of the movable plates 14, 16, 18 of the platform 1 and of the movable sections 6 of the <protection cap 5;>

- ticket issuers (not shown), designed to allow their use in paid parking.

Claims (9)

CLAIMS 1) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, which can be placed in the <space of a common outdoor parking space, comprising:> - a platform (1) for parking a vehicle (V), equipped with <a perimeter edge (2) raised on three sides;> - a protective cap (5), suitable for isolating a vehicle (V) from the external environment, consisting of a plurality of mobile sections (6) having a portal shape, decreasing dimensions from the outermost to the innermost, and free opposite ends to rotate individually on common pins (7) interposed between the perimeter edge (2) of the platform (1) and supports (8), <characterized by the fact that it includes:> - a first movable plate (14) and a second movable plate <(16), constituting the front area (3) of the platform (1);> - a fixed plate (12) and a third movable plate (18), <constituting the rear area (4) of the platform (1);> - a motor unit (9), which can be selectively activated, mechanically connected to the movable sections (6) of the protective cap (5) and to the movable plates (14, 16, 18) of the platform (1), where the motor unit (9) is able to cooperate with the movable sections (6) of the protective cap (5), to operate it reversibly, and with the movable plates (14, 16, 18) of the platform (1), to change their position reversibly during the rest and use phases of the box (B) and to obtain a consequent reduction of the front and rear overall dimensions of said box (B). 2) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized in that the fixed plate (12) comprises ground fixing means (13) of the type with log bolts, bolts and the like. 3) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized in that the first movable plate (14) is connected to the fixed plate (12) by means of pins (15), and is able to rotate on said pins (15) with respect to said fixed plate (12). 4) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized in that the second movable plate (16) is connected to the first movable plate (14) by means of pins (17), and is able to rotate on said pins (17) with respect to said first movable plate (14). 5) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized in that the third movable plate (18) is connected to the fixed plate (12) by means of pins (19), and is able to rotate on said pins (19) with respect to said fixed plate (12). 6) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized by the fact that the motor unit (9) comprises locking devices designed to prevent the forced movement of the movable plates (14, 16, 18) of the platform (1) and of the movable sections (6) of the cap (5) of protection. 7) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized by the fact that the motor unit (9) includes an emergency key (11) designed to allow manual operation. 8) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to rev. 1, characterized by the fact that it includes climatic conditioning means (21) designed to promote the exchange, and / or circulation, and / or refrigeration, of the air inside the protective cap (5). 9) Box (B) for cars or vehicles (V) in general, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that it includes alarm devices (23), of the acoustic and / or luminous type, suitable for signaling the movement of the movable plates (14, 16, 18) of the platform (1) and of the mobile sections (6) of the protective cap (5).
