The present patent application for industrial invention relates to a system for managing furnishing accessories.

When a user wishes to buy a kitchen, a piece of furniture or any piece of furniture, he generally goes to a furniture maker or looks at brochures or catalogs illustrating furnishing accessories. The furniture maker shows the user the furniture on display or photographs of the furniture in catalogs or brochures.

It often appears that the user's aesthetic needs or tastes are not satisfied by the furnishing accessories on display or shown in the catalog. In this case, the user wishes to customize the piece of furniture, in accordance with his needs, by choosing different colors, materials or finishes than those shown on display or in the catalogs.

For this purpose, the furniture maker brings to the customer a sample collection with different colors or materials or finishes, so that the customer can customize the piece of furniture in accordance with his aesthetic tastes. This sample book can also be printed on sheets, catalogs or brochures, such as pantone colors.

It is evident that the user, looking at the various samples of the sample, is unable to get an idea of the aesthetic impact of the piece of furniture made with the color, material or finish of the sample chosen by the user.

As a result, the customization of the piece of furniture by the user turns out to be complex and empirical.

The object of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of the known art, by providing a management system of furnishing accessories that is capable of providing a user with clear and effective information on the personalization of the furnishing accessory.

Another object of the present invention is to provide such a system for managing furnishing accessories that is practical, versatile and easy to use.

These purposes are achieved in accordance with the invention with the features of independent claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention appear from the dependent claims.

The furnishing accessories management system, according to the invention, includes:

- a sheet in which a basic version of a piece of furniture is printed and a sample book comprising a plurality of samples, by means of which it is possible to customize the completion of the furniture,

- at least one code associated with at least one respective sample,

- a server in which digital information on the personalized furnishing accessory is stored through the sample associated with the respective code, and

- an electronic device configured to read the codes associated with the respective samples and connect to the server to display digital information on the personalized furnishing accessory using the sample associated with the respective code

Advantageously, the codes are placeholders or qr-codes and the electronic device is a mobile phone, smart-phone or tablet.

The novelty of the system according to the invention consists in identifying, reading, deciphering and displaying, starting from the printed paper, by means of placeholder or qr-code technology and a specific application program on a mobile device, all digital contents that allow to customize the complement of furniture in accordance with the user's needs.

Reading through the application program, on a mobile device allows the end user (who is a possible customer of furniture factories) to view directly, at any time and wherever he is, all the data relating to the piece of furniture that he personalized:

Further features of the invention will appear clearer from the detailed description that follows, referring to its purely exemplary and therefore non-limiting embodiments, illustrated in the attached drawings, in which:

Fig. 1 is a schematic view illustrating a first embodiment of the system according to the invention; and Fig. 2 is a plan view illustrating a second embodiment of the invention.

With the aid of the figures, the system according to the invention is described, indicated as a whole with the reference number (100).

With reference to Fig. 1, the system (100) comprises: - a sheet (D) in which a basic version of a piece of furniture (M) and a sample (P) comprising a plurality of samples (PI,. .. P15), through which it is possible to customize the decoration (M), - at least one code (Cl, .... CI 5) associated with at least one respective sample (PI, ... P15),

- a server (3) in which digital information is stored on the piece of furniture (M) customized by means of the sample (PI, ... P15) associated with the respective code (Cl, .... C15), and

- an electronic device (2) configured to read the codes (Cl, .... C15) associated with the respective samples and connect to the server (3) to display digital information on the piece of furniture (M) customized by means of the sample associated with the respective code.

In Fig. 1, by way of example, a furnishing accessory (M) is illustrated consisting of a kitchen and a sample set (P) comprising fifteen different samples (PI, ... P15) representing different colors of the kitchen panels (M ). In this case, a code (Cl, .... C15) is associated with each sample (PI, ... PI 5).

Advantageously, the codes (Cl, .... C15) can be placeholders, ie numeric or alphanumeric symbols, suitable for being recognized by a code reader, such as for example a camera, a scanner or the like. In this case, the placeholders (Cl, .... C15) have small dimensions, for example they are limited to a diameter of less than 5 mm. Therefore the placeholders (Cl, .... C15) can be easily inserted in each (PI, ... P15), without creating problems of intelligibility of the samples. Preferably the placeholders (Cl, .... C15) are dark in color. In the event that some samples (PII, P14) are particularly dark so that the code cannot be distinguished, the relative code (Cll, 04) can be positioned outside the sample, near the sample.

The electronic device (2) includes:

- a code reader (20) adapted to read the codes (Cl, ....

- a transceiver (21) able to connect to the server (3), - an application program (22) able to recognize the codes (Cl, .... 05) and, on the basis of the recognized codes, access digital information on the server (3) associated with (Cl, .... 05), and

- a display (23) adapted to display the digital information stored on the server (3).

Advantageously, the server (3) is an internet network server and the electronic device can be a mobile phone or smart-phone or tablet, equipped with a camera to read the codes, an internet connection to connect to the server (3) and a application program (22) to recognize the codes and connect to the web pages of the server (3).

The digital contents of the server (3) include views of the cabinet (M) illustrated in the sheet, customized with various samples associated with the codes, immobile in the area identified by the symbol. For each sample associated with a code, the digital contents allow a 3D graphics of the piece of furniture, usable in an interactive way, for example a complete three-dimensional view (in 3D) with 360 ° navigation.

With reference to Fig. 2, the codes (Cl, .... C15) are QR-codes (two-dimensional bar codes) which allow a connection to the web pages of the server (3).

The qr-code is identified and decrypted by the application program (22) which, in this case, is a special reading application, installed in the electronic device (2, such as smartphone or tablet. These applications are defined QR reader. Currently different QR readers are available for the most popular operating systems, such as “Apple”, “Windows” and “Android.” The most famous applications are “SCAN” or “QRReader”, which can be downloaded for free on Google Play or Apple Store.

The qr-code is a square with a side greater than 10 nini, generally 20 mm. In this case, it can be verified that a qr-code, when placed within the relative sample (PI,. P15), cancels a large part of the sample, making the sample unintelligible.

To solve this drawback, with reference to Fig. 2, the codes (Cl,. C15) can be placed outside the samples (PI,. PI 5) and close to the samples. By the term next to the samples he means on the same sheet (D) on which the codes (Cl,. C15) are printed, a few centimeters from the samples, so that the user can see both the samples and the codes.

In this case, the codes (Cl,. CI 5) are QR-codes. The code being located outside the samples, does not interfere with the sample.

Although in Fig. 1 an embodiment with placeholder was shown and in Fig. 2 an embodiment with qr-code was shown, the invention can provide for the simultaneous use of palceholder and qr-code inside and outside the samples.

Even if in the figures qr-code such and such have been illustrated, within the qr-code a trademark, logo, writing or symbol can be inserted.

Equivalent variations and modifications can be made to the present embodiments of the invention, within the reach of a person skilled in the art, which however fall within the scope of the invention.

CLAIMS 1. Furnishing accessories management system (100) comprising: - a sheet (D) in which a basic version of a piece of furniture (M) and a sample (P) including a plurality of samples (PI, ... P15) are printed, by means of which it is possible to customize the complement of furniture (M), - at least one code (Cl, .... CI 5) associated with at least one respective sample (PI, ... PI 5), - a server (3) in which digital information is stored on the piece of furniture (M) customized by means of the sample (PI, ... P15) associated with the respective code (Cl, .... C15), and - an electronic device (2) configured to read the codes (Cl, .... C15) associated with the respective samples and connect to the server (3) to display digital information on the piece of furniture (M) customized by means of the sample associated with the respective code. System (100) according to claim 1, wherein said at least one code (Cl, .... C15) comprises at least one placeholder, ie a numeric or alphanumeric symbol suitable for being recognized by a code reader.
