Al giorno d’oggi le padelle che normalmente si usano negli Ospedali, nelle Case di cura , nelle case di Riposo e nelle famiglie sono dei recipienti atti a contenere materiale organico ( urine e feci) e che si adattano al corpo umano in modo da permettere che le persone svuotino la vescica e l'intestino direttamente in tali contenitori vengono poi trasportati da una terza persona ( infermiera o parente) e svuotati in un water o in un smaltitoio comune.. Le padelle attualmente in uso sono aperte superiormente per permettere al paziente di svuotare direttamente la vescica o l'intestino. La Padella Discreta per Rifiuti Organici è composta da una base che è rappresentata da una padella tradizionale (1) che può essere di una qualsiasi plastica leggera e non deformabile in quanto su di essa deve appoggiarsi il paziente nel momento in cui svuota la vescica o rimestino- Il colore non è esclusivo ma può essere di colore bianco come normalmente si usa o di un colore verde leggero o azzurro che sono colori che non disturbano l'ambiente medico.
