OCCHIALE LEGGERO DEL TIPO CON GRAFFETTE DI UNIONE, PARTICOLARMENTE DELLE LENTIAL FRONTALEDELLA MONTATURA. LIGHTWEIGHT GLASSES OF THE TYPE WITH UNION CLIP, PARTICULARLY OF THE FRONT LENSES OF THE FRAME.
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to light eyeglasses of the type with union staples, particularly lenses at the front of the frame.
The proposal finds particular, though not excluding, application in the sector of production and marketing of glasses, obtained from the processing of metal wire with the help of other elements of various shapes and in light material, which constituting the front of the frame, support the lenses.
PREMESSA PREMISE
Spectacle frames are known, which mainly consist of a part suitable for supporting the lenses, the front, given by two ocular frames substantially obtained in acetate or metal, joined together by a bridge; from the nose pads, which can sometimes be obtained monolithically from said eyepiece frames; and finally by support rods. The latter, in some solutions, may finally include devices, flex, obtained in proximity of the hinging to the front of the glasses, to allow the elasticized engagement of the frame.
For some years, an alternative solution to traditional acetate eyewear has been spreading on the market, consisting of the so-called open eyewear. In essence, it recalls eyewear without or almost without front, very popular at the beginning of the century, and particularly appreciated by the public, as given by a light and very inconspicuous structure, therefore in line with the minimalist trend of so.
Unanimously, the solution that has contributed most of all to the rebirth of this type of eyewear is the proposal referred to in European patent no. 546589, having as its object means for supporting lenses in spectacles, particularly of the type with an open frame. The main feature of this eyewear consists in providing, in place of the traditional temple elasticization device, a modification of the shape of the terminal part of the temple, in such a way as to make it, even if simplified, equally yielding with respect to the pivot nose. . More specifically, the eyewear in question consists of two lenses, with an open frame, that is of the type without a frame. Consequently, again the lenses, are joined together by the bridge alone, which in this case is obtained in wire, which when suitably folded, creates rings for the engagement of corresponding nosepads. The same wire bridge, again by virtue of the particular conformation, provides anchoring brackets on the side of the nose pads, given by the two opposite ends of the folded wire. At this point, the anchoring of the single lens is obtained by making small holes necessary to accommodate the wire ends of the bridge.
A further innovative feature, detectable by the Lindberg proposal, can be found in the temples. Also in this case they are obtained in metal wire, suitably folded and respectively, on one side, turned downwards to wrap part of the auricle as usual, on the other creating a spiral, where the shape of the winding develops orthogonally to the section of the dipstick. The hole, obtained coaxially to the spiral, constitutes a female half for hinging it to the nose-pin associated with each eyewear lens. More specifically, an eyeglass lens, on the opposite anchoring side of the nose piece, has a hole which, passing transversally, receives a portion of folded wire, anchored on one side along the edge of the glasses, being folded back on itself, on the other hand, extending for a short horizontal section followed by a further section bent at 90 °, in such a way as to obtain a pin arranged vertically. Said pin is then received coaxially to the spiral, obtaining the hinging of the rod. Ultimately, the elastic yielding of the same is made possible by the termination of the spiral, which insists, by flexing the temple outwards, along the horizontal section of the male means of hinging to the lens of the glasses.
In the same patent text, moreover, technical variants are described, especially as regards the support structure of the lenses, which in the present case provides for the processing of the wire in such a way as to involve only the upper part in a first solution, or alternatively, only the lower part. Consequently, by means of appropriate folds and flaps of the same, a single structure is obtained that performs the function of joint, on the sides of the glasses for hinging the temples, and centrally, joining, by means of a bridge, the two lenses as well as constituting anchoring means for the respective nosepads, STATE OF THE ART
The eyewear sector is definitely one of the most populated of proposals, so it is natural to identify, over time, alternatives, from the more or less captivating solutions of rimless glasses, to that day, to the ultralights so much appreciated today, and so on. away, up to the not last and classic return to the widespread arched eyewear.
More in detail, this eyewear, particularly in vogue at the turn of the 70-80s, includes two temples, both in the version with traditional and curly ends, hinged to a front which consists only of a metal arch, with a radius of rather pronounced curvature. From the practical side, compared to a traditional front of a frame, said headband affects almost only the upper portion of the lenses, connected by a bridge, which is nothing more than a part of the monolithic headband.
Usually, the relative lenses can be engaged from the internal side of said arch. In most of the rather rounded solutions, these too are joined to the said arch by means of small screws, with relative retaining nut, which being passing through the said arch and therefore, through corresponding holes drilled, along the upper edge of each lens, thus ensuring retention and possible interchangeability.
Between. the countless variants found on the market, it is interesting to mention the proposal of a well-known designer, Yamamoto, known in the sector of sunglasses. In some of its top models it is usual to find solutions that propose a traditional front, for example metal, where the lens is placed almost in suspension within each frame that surrounds the lens, being retained at the side by a sort of appendix joined to the frame, with the fork end, which overlaps with two flat faces, along the edge facing the inside of the glasses, of each lens. Also in this case, it is noted that the union of the lens requires the contribution of a screw passing through said fork and the relative retaining nut.
Nota, infine, è anche la proposta n. TV95A000105 Finally, proposal no. TV95A000105
, which suggests a structure of an open frame and an improved temple thus obtained, of the type obtained by means of a folded metal wire supporting the lenses and comprising; a connection bridge to which corresponding nosepads are engaged, providing on the external side of a pair of glasses thus assembled, or near the edge of each individual lens, the anchoring of a monolithic nose for hinging the temple, also being obtained in wire, with on one side, two parallel and almost rectilinear ends, introduced oblique through the corresponding lens, on the other providing two rings, joined by a subsequent curved section; allowing, inside said rings, the introduction of the male end of a corresponding rod, the end being essentially "L" shaped, and in which the greater part of said rod first extends straight, then from a side is curved, having to turn up near the auricle, while the side affected by the hinging has a straight rectum perpendicular to the longer section followed by a short section folded over the top at 90 °, so that the latter, by rotating the rod , interferes with a part of the said nose.
INCONVENIENTI PROBLEMS
The drawbacks that can be identified in the solutions mentioned above and known, substantially refer to the possibility of combining parts of the eyeglasses made of wire, with lens support elements, of various nature and shape. This manufacturing technique, there is no doubt, involves objective limits, relating to the possibility of joining the lenses to the upper arch, which must necessarily take into account, first and foremost, certain conditions such as the position and processing of the lenses. In the present case, the latter can be accepted as a stop, with only one of the two sides, or on the internal side of the arch, as in the proposals in the introduction, or even superimposed with respect to the arch, with the only alternative of provide for a fork which, as we have seen, overlaps both faces of the lens.
This circumstance requires a necessary section of the arch, in the sense that it, along the edge or on the side affected by the coupling with at least one surface, of the lenses, must be at least flat or specular to the profile of the lens so that the two surfaces match perfectly, in order to allow a solid anchorage, again by means of passing screws. The solutions thus envisaged are therefore, intuitively, very limited, and do not allow free rein to the creativity of the masters of eyewear.
Finally, another aspect relates to the fact that the most frequently used retaining means contemplate the traditional screw with the concurrence of the nut, so that the processes necessary to allow assembly may appear in some ways rather complex and expensive, as they require execution times and specialized personnel.
From these introductory considerations, it is clear that the identification of alternative solutions is certainly pre-eminent.
And an object of the present invention is also to obviate the aforementioned drawbacks.

Taking the Figures - in the attached tables as a reference, it can be seen that an eyewear structure (A, Al, A2, A3) is of the type composed of an upper arch (1, 10) supporting a pair of lenses ( 2, 20), lower.
The upper arch (1), in one case, is made up of a metal tubular, curved at the ends (11) to allow optimal fulcrum of the rods (3).
The frontal shape of the arch (I) is such as to provide a sinusoidal trend, so as to ideally follow (12) the rounded shape of the upper profile of each lens (2). The central part (13), on the other hand, creates a rather accentuated loop towards the bottom, to which the thread-like structure (4) that supports the nose pads (5) engages.
In detail, in order to allow the union of each of the lenses (2) to the arch (1), the use of a clip (6) is provided, obtained by substantially bending the metal wire into a "U" shape. In this case, the arch (1) provides for the execution of two holes at the top, inside which, from above, the ends (61) of the clip (6) are introduced so that, pushing towards the lower part, place the central portion (62) of the clip (6) against the surface of the bow (1). The lower ends (61) of the latter can be folded at 90 ° (see Fig. 3) towards the internal face (21) of the lens (2), so that they slip into corresponding holes previously drilled by the lens (2). operator. - Alternatively, the staple (6) can be used with straight ends (63), i.e. not bent at 90 °, with only one structural variant that these will engage in similar holes obtained, instead of on the internal face (21), of the lens (2), along the perimeter edge of the same.
As far as the nosepads (5) are concerned, it is noted that they are supported by a thread-like structure (4), also obtained by folding metal wire, and anchored to the upper arch (1). More specifically, said structure (4) is nothing more than a staple, also introduced from above through holes made on the arch (1). In the present case, it leaves the joining portion (42) protruding from the upper arch (1), which appears visibly squared with respect to the rounded joining portion (62) of the staple (6). The lower ends (41), of the structure (4) are divergent, with the ends folded, to form an eyelet (411), inside each of which the corresponding nib (5) fits,
Finally, it is noted that the small arms (3) are pivoted on the side of the arch (1). Also obtained in metal wire, each has an end with the wire folded several times to allow hinging to the bow (1), in advance, and logically perforated. Even more particularly, it is noted that the end portion (31) with a first section of wire (311) vertically affects the thickness of the bow (1), and then exits from the underlying side and therefore with the section (312) be folded partially close to the surface of the same. At this point the end (313) is passed around the incoming head (311) near the mouth, creating a retaining eyelet. For this purpose, it is noted that, in the opening phase, it is the portion of wire (312) which, placing itself in contact with the surface of the bow, acts as a stop to further rotation. Again the rod (3), on the opposite side (32), provides that the wire supports an original terminal, which, in the proposed solution, consists of a silicone element, with a substantially spherical conformation.
In a variant, such as that represented by the glasses (A1), it is noted that the bow (10) has a different section and shape. In the present case, it is of the wooden type, with a square section, and develops linearly. In the middle position, two holes are made, through which the corresponding end of the clip (7) is passed, so that on one side and the other, conveniently folded, it supports the lenses (20). Since the wire (7) affects the perimeter edge of each lens (20), the latter provides for the construction of a slot (not shown) which partially houses said wire (7). In the proposal in question, since it considers a single thread, the section of descending thread (71) that protrudes from the part underneath the arch (10), is therefore passed around the lens (20) and then, in the ascending section ( 72) superimposed astride the portion of the descending thread (71), to then be folded again, on the other side and downwards with an eyelet termination (411). The corresponding nose piece (5) fits inside the latter.
In the variant of eyewear proposed by (A2), it is noted that through the arch (10), also conveniently perforated, in correspondence with each lens (20), a wire clip is passed from the opposite side with respect to the previous ones. (8). The section of wire thus descending (81) is therefore distributed perimeter to the lens concerned (20), which is of the type provided with a perimeter slot, to then be taken up again, and, the ascending section (82), passed again through the bow (10) provided with a hole in logical correspondence. The ends (83, 84) of the wire (8) are then secured by being introduced into a third and fourth hole, in this case not passing through, obtained in a position adjacent to the first ones. Finally, as regards the hake (5), they take up the proposal offered by the first solution described.
In a third variant of glasses, (A3), there is a reference to the solution indicated in (A1). Basically, it involves the use of a single wire (9), which with the function of a staple, is passed, in return, through the bow (10), always of the type provided with logically coincident holes. More specifically, the descending portion (91) is distributed around the perimeter along the lens (20), and then, the ascending portion (92), is superimposed across the wire portion (93) and then folded down again with an eyelet termination (411) within which the corresponding nose pin (5) fits. As far as the section of wire (93) is concerned, it has the function of connecting bridge between the lenses (20) to extend on the other side, to engage the adjacent lens (20) perimeter and in the same way.
