Tali elementi grafici sono costituiti da ima serie di linee, parallele o meno ed incrociate o meno oppure riquadri, bande barre, figure geometriche o di fantasia, simboli, codici, caratteri alfa-numerici, ecc.. Detti elementi grafici vengono realizzati anche a gruppi di diverso colore, ir modo da formare una cromia eventualmente in continua evoluzione all'inl rno del predetto campo. La opportuna mescolanza fra linee (o figure, simboli, codici, caratteri alfanumerici, ecc.) e colori da luogo a delle combinazioni che, pur in presenza di u unn campo di ridotte dimensioni quale ad esempio 50x25 mm, si ripetono con una frequenza inferiore ad uno su mille.
