CLAIMS 1. Component for the treatment of water for a household appliance having a washing tank, in particular a dishwashing machine, having a body of plastic material having at least a portion intended for connection with a further element of the appliance, said device being characterized by the fact that a respective gasket is stably associated with said at least a portion of the body.

2. Component according to claim 1, which is a substantially flat water dispensing device (10) and has, on one face, a seat to which said gasket (14) is stably associated.

Component (10) according to claim 2, which has a first sleeve (20) for connection to a water supply pipe (22), a respective further gasket (30) being stably associated around said first sleeve (20).

4. Component according to claim 1, which is a decalcifier (26) which includes a salt reservoir with a filler (36) for loading the salt, at least one gasket being stably associated around said filler (36).

5. Component (26) according to claim 4, wherein a first gasket (38) for coupling with a plug (48) and a second gasket (46) for coupling with a ring nut (44) are stably associated around said union (36).

6. Component (26) according to claim 4 or 5, which is provided with a first duct (31) for the entry of water to be descaled and a second duct (32) for the entry of water for the formation of a regeneration brine, within the mouth of said ducts (31, 32) a respective gasket (34) being stably associated.

7. Component according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said gasket is of thermoplastic or elastomeric material.

8. Process for producing a component for water treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said gasket is stably associated with the respective portion of the body of plastic material, for example by co-molding or casting, substantially simultaneously to the molding of said body.

9. Process for producing a component for water treatment according to any one of the preceding claims from 1 to 7, wherein said gasket is stably associated with the respective portion of the body of plastic material after the formation of said body.

10. Household appliance comprising at least one component for water treatment according to any one of the preceding claims 1 to 7.
