DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
del brevetto per invenzione industriale dal titolo: of the patent for industrial invention entitled:
“PROCEDIMENTO PER LA FABBRICAZIONE DI UN FILATO A BASE DI UNA FIBRA NATURALE NON TESSIBILE E ARTICOLO TESSILE REALIZZATO CON TALE FILATO” "PROCEDURE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A YARN BASED ON A NATURAL NON-WOVEN FIBER AND TEXTILE ARTICLE MADE WITH THIS YARN"
The present invention relates to a yarn based on a non-woven noble natural fiber, to the relative manufacturing process and to its use for the production of fabrics and garments.
As is known, cashmere is a valuable fiber for the manufacture of textile articles, in particular for garments.
In its pure state and with high counts, a cashmere yarn has, however, values of mechanical resistance so low that it is impossible to weave it automatically.
For example, particularly fine yarns (50-200 dtex count) have tensile strength values of less than 80-100 g, which make them unsuitable for industrial weaving.
In order to be able to make the formation of fabrics starting from a fine pure cashmere yarn, it has been proposed, for example by EP1061162 and EP1967622, to couple a yarn formed from pure cashmere fibers to a synthetic yarn reinforcing a material such that it can be eliminated, once the weaving operation has been carried out, by dissolution in an aqueous solution at acid pH maintained within a predetermined range of more or less high temperature (for example of the order of 80-100 ° C).
However, such a procedure involves the need to proceed to a sequence of distinct processes, so that first of all two spinning operations are carried out, respectively of the cashmere fibers and of the water-soluble synthetic fibers, to form two twisted (primary twisting) and distinct yarns. Only subsequently these two yarns are coupled by means of a "doubling" operation, after which they are given a further twisting (secondary twisting), generally performed in the opposite direction (S) compared to that of the primary twisting (Z) of the cashmere yarn .
It is also known to produce fabrics starting from a "hybrid" yarn comprising a plurality of natural fibers and water-soluble synthetic fibers, according to a qualitative scheme represented in Figure 5.
According to such a process, natural fibers and water-soluble synthetic fibers are intimately juxtaposed, twisted and spun together to form a hybrid yarn. The latter can therefore be used for weaving, after which, similarly to what has already been described, the water-soluble synthetic portion of the yarn can be eliminated by dissolution in an aqueous solution, preferably having a slightly acidic pH.
Even in this case, however, the process leads to an uneven distribution of the cashmere fibers in the yarn which is then woven. This distribution is a consequence of the intrinsic randomness of the arrangement of the fibers in the "blend" from which the yarn is obtained. For the same reasons, the mechanical stress to which the different cashmere fibers are subjected during twisting is also generally unevenly distributed among the fibers, and this then affects the characteristics of the finished fabric.
There is therefore, in the sector, the need to identify alternative spinning processes that allow the problems associated with the known solutions described above to be overcome.
The purpose of the present invention is therefore to provide a yarn based on a non-woven noble natural fiber, and in particular based on cashmere, silk or their blends, and a process for its manufacture, which are suitable for satisfying the aforementioned requirement in a simple and economical way.
The above object is achieved by the present invention, since it relates to a yarn as defined in claim 1. The present invention also relates to a process for manufacturing a yarn as defined in claim 10.
For a better understanding of the present invention, a preferred embodiment is described below, purely by way of non-limiting example and with reference to the figures of the attached drawings, in which:

Figure 5 shows a schematic sectional view of the structure of a hybrid yarn according to the known art.
A cashmere yarn, or another noble natural fiber, having a count greater than 200 dtex, typically has mechanical properties suitable for allowing its automated weaving, in the absence of reinforcing elements such as other yarns coupled to it.
In the context of the present invention, however, reference is made to a yarn based on an extrafine natural fiber, preferably a noble animal fiber (such as cashmere or silk), "not industrially wearable". With this expression we mean, here, a yarn having a count between 85 dtex to 200 dtex, for which the automated weaving operation without a support element is mechanically impossible.
In Figure 4C, 1 indicates as a whole a yarn of the so-called "core-spun" type comprising a core 2 (in English "core") of a water-soluble material, and a cover 3 comprising industrially non-woven extra-fine natural fibers, which, in a radial sense, is arranged for its entirety outside the core 2.
Advantageously, the core 2 is constituted by a yarn comprising synthetic fibers that are dissoluble in an aqueous solution having a slightly acid pH, such as for example polyvinyl and / or polyvinylalkyl fibers (PVA / PVOH fibers), preferably water-soluble, such as those marketed under the Kuralon brand. ® (from Kuraray) or Solvron® (from Nitivy). For example, the synthetic fibers of core 2 are dissolvable in aqueous solution at a pH between 4 and 5 and at a temperature of the order of 80 ÷ 100 ° C.
The “industrially non-woven” extra-fine natural fibers of the cover 3 are preferably animal fibers. More preferably, the cover 3 comprises fibers considered "noble", such as cashmere or silk fibers or their blends.
In Figure 1, the number 10 indicates as a whole an apparatus (spinning machine) by means of which a "core-spun" yarn is made. A wick 12 of “industrially non-woven” extra-fine natural fibers is fed from a reel 11. The wick 12 comprises a thin web of extra-fine fibers which have been previously carded and drawn. At the same time, a water-soluble yarn 14 is fed from a cone 13.
The roving 12 is passed through a guide element 15, then through a pair of inlet cylinders 16 and is then fed to a drafting mill 17, which comprises a plurality of pairs of drafting cylinders 17a, 17b , 17c, 17d.
In parallel, the yarn 14 is guided by a guide roller 18 and by a guide element 19 mounted on the frame 20 of the drawing mill 17.
The yarn 14 and the laminated roving 12 coming out of the last pair of drawing cylinders 17d are fed together at the inlet to a pair of cylinders 21 in correspondence with which the yarn 14 and roving 12 are joined to form, respectively, the core 2 and cover 3 of the yarn 1 according to the invention.
According to a preferred embodiment, this junction between yarn 14 and roving 12 occurs exclusively by overlapping them in parallel within the cylinders 21. The overlapping of the two elements is ensured by keeping the roving substantially at the center of a control field identified by the rolling mill. drawing 17, and at the same time controlling the position of the yarn 14 by means of the guide element 19, so that it is geometrically superimposed on the roving 12 even before reaching the output cylinders 21.
The rotary motion of the spindle 22 forces the fibers making up the wick 12 a twist such as to promote the integration of the yarn 14 into the wick itself.
The yarn 14 thus remains incorporated between the fibers of the wick 12, to constitute a core 2 generally decentralized with respect to the axis of the yarn 1 obtained at the outlet. It should be noted that the exact centering of the core 2 with respect to the straight section of the yarn 1 could be obtained in the case in which the wick 12 has significantly larger dimensions than the water-soluble yarn 14, or in the case in which a yarn is made starting from a core and two distinct wicks.
The yarn 1 thus obtained can be subsequently used in a conventional weaving process. The presence of the water-soluble core provides the corespun yarn of the invention with the mechanical strength necessary to withstand the stresses associated with weaving, which would not be possible with a yarn formed only from extra-fine animal fibers. The fabric thus obtained can then be subjected to a washing operation carried out by immersing the fabric in an aqueous solution having a slightly acid pH and at a temperature between 75 and 100C, suitably chosen according to the nature of the fibers constituting the core of the yarn. . In this way, the water-soluble portion is eliminated by dissolution / fusion and a fabric is obtained consisting only of extra-fine animal fibers in the form of a single-ply yarn having a count between 140 and 50 dtex, or between 70Nm and 200Nm.
Compared to the solutions known in the art, the method of the present invention involves reduced costs and less complexity from the operational point of view, since the double operation of doubling and twisting, provided, for example, by the solution known from EP1061162, is replaced by a single spinning operation. This spinning operation starting from the extra-fine animal fibers, however, should in any case be carried out to obtain the non-woven noble natural fiber yarn to be combined and twisted.
Furthermore, unlike what happens according to the solution known from EP1061162, the water-soluble core performs a function of mechanical support of the extrafine natural fibers not only after spinning, but already in the phase in which the extrafine natural fibers are spun.
This operation is consequently facilitated compared to a conventional process of spinning extra-fine fibers, for example cashmere, which, in the absence of a support core, is typically characterized by frequent breaks, which slow down and make the operation complex. requiring frequent manual interventions by a qualified operator.
According to the method of the invention, however, the spinability of cashmere is significantly increased, resulting in a much lower number of breaks.
Furthermore, with respect to the "hybrid" yarn described with reference to Figure 5, the structure of the yarn of the invention is such as to lead to a substantially homogeneous distribution of the mechanical stresses between the extra-fine fibers that are part of it, both in the spinning and twisting phases. , both in the weaving phase, thus increasing the quality of the finished fabric and of the garments made from it.
