CLAIMS 1. Packaging for confectionery products, comprising a thermoformed sheet of plastic material (10) defining at least one receptacle (11) open upwards to contain at least one confectionery product, and a lower bottom of flat cardboard (20) joined by heat sealing {30, 31) to the sheet (10).

Packaging according to claim 1, wherein the cardboard bottom (20) has no raised edges or vertical perimeter walls.

Packaging according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the thermoformed sheet (10) and the flat bottom (20) have substantially congruent plan shapes.

4. Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the heat sealing (30) is carried out at least in the perimeter area at the interface between the thermoformed sheet (10) and the bottom (20).

5. Packaging according to claim 4, in which the heat sealing (30) is applied continuously along the perimeter area at the interface between the thermoformed sheet (10) and the bottom (20).

6. Packaging according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the thermoformed sheet (10) forms a substantially horizontal peripheral flanged edge (12) at the bottom, and that the heat sealing (30) is carried out along said flanged edge (12).

Packaging according to claim 6, wherein the flanged edge (12) extends transversely from an essentially vertical portion of perimeter wall (13).
