La presente invenzione si riferisce al settore delle confezioni cartotecniche e riguarda in particolare un coperchio per confezioni cartotecniche secondo il preambolo della rivendicazione 1. Confezioni di questo tipo vengono utilizzate, ad esempio per contenere, in vista dell'immagazzinamento e del trasferimento dal luogo di produzione verso il luogo di vendita (soprattutto verso supermercati e grandi superfici di vendita), prodotti quali bevande confezionate in bicchieri di plastica coperti da una lamina perforabile. Un ulteriore inconveniente è dato dal fatto che, una volta che la confezione è stata aperta ed i prodotti in essa contenuti sono stati estratti, tanto il fondo quanto il coperchio costituiscono corpi tridimensionali che, proprio per la nutrita applicazione di punti di saldatura diretti ad assicurarne la consistenza e la resistenza meccanica, risultano difficili o comunque non agevoli da riportare in stato disteso in vista del successivo smaltimento. Anzi, in almeno alcuni casi, il fondo e/o il coperchio della confezione, per essere riportati allo stato piano, richiedono un intervento piuttosto energico che spesso di traduce in una lacerazione della parte interessata e con dispersione di frammenti o residui della stessa.
