Se per qualsiasi motivo il nastrino 4 non viene applicato sul foglio continuo 11, interviene una fotocellula di lettura di presenza nastrino 12 che arresta la macchina riempitrice e/o confezionatrice. Se la macchina riempitrice e/o confezionatrice ha un sistema di avanzamento non molto preciso o atto a generare differenze in più o in meno rispetto al passo corretto del foglio continuo 11, determinato dalla distanza tra le tacche di passo, potrebbe generarsi l'inconveniente di un'applicazione del nastrino 4 in posizione non perfettamente corretta o disallineata rispetto ad un eventuale stampa sul foglio continuo di confezionamento 11. In tale caso è opportuno equipaggiare la macchina applicatrice con un sistema di avanzamento del nastro 3 di precisione come illustrato nella figura 5. Tale sistema non sostituisce quello esistente sulla macchina riempitrice e/o confezionatrice ma sarà un sistema di servizio per la macchina applicatrice. Infine, la fustellatura della linguetta di presa sul foglio continuo 11 di confezionamento, prevista secondo gli insegnamenti dei precedenti brevetti della Richiedente, viene realizzata nella terza stazione della macchina illustrata nella figura 4.
