Description
Tessuto o fodera traspirante Breathable fabric or lining
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to particular weaves that can be used as breathable fabrics or linings.
The search for comfort in clothing is strongly motivated to find all possible measures to determine maximum breathability.
To date, synthetic garments have found interesting systems, but not everyone considers such materials easy, which can lead to embarrassing situations due to the odors and lack of hygiene characteristic of natural materials such as cotton, which on the other hand is not very elastic. In this sense, the research of the present invention has remedied these problems by proposing a product with transpiration characteristics identical to those of synthetic products, but using natural products.
ANTERIORITY: A use of a net-like weave as a lining is described in US 4,716,594 of 05/01/1988 (inventor Shannon). This patent describes a garment made with two layers of fabric connected at the seams. The outer layer is a dense web, while the inner layer is a coarse compensating web, with large openings. The yarns used for making the inner layer are 2/16 inch to 7/16 inch thick. Shannon states that the thickness of the inner layer provides a spacer layer for the wearer's skin from the outer layer. However, thick yarns are ropes of considerable thickness, which cause discomfort to the user when bending or flexing the limbs, causing difficulty in movement for the beekeeper.
The other patents analyzed differ greatly from the substance of the present invention and for this reason they are not mentioned.
HYGIENICITY - One of the main characteristics of the invention is that of being a NON-SYNTHETIC, hygienic and very breathable fabric, which can also be used in direct contact with the skin. In fact, the invention is mainly made of 100% natural cotton; nevertheless, elastic capacities are obtained in the directions of need for comfort and for wearing through an artifice described here which further characterizes it. A wide mesh warp and weft matrix is used, with a relevant fabric thickness of one point two millimeters, suitable for the use and for the further problems it solves regarding the CANALIZATION and DISPERSION of heat flows and the problem of the compensation of the WITHDRAWAL for washing, for which needs it must be carried out according to the indications that will be reported below in the following paragraphs. The manufacturing strategy also allows to have very elastic parts side by side or combined with inelastic or not very elastic parts, while keeping the meshes open to ensure at the same time transpiration and the distance (thickness) from the skin of the accessory parts, without using synthetic materials in contact. with the skin. In fact, the 100% cotton parts have been found a way in which parts of cotton with minimum percentages of elastic, less than or equal to five percent, can be placed side by side and alternate in a regular or asymmetrical way, creating a single fabric with alternating parts with different characteristics. , but keeping in contact with the skin only the part made with 100% cotton.
BREATHABILITY - Made up of warp and weft (FIG.1 - particular net of the invention), the invention is alternatively called net or fabric. The vertical warp (1 FIG. 1) and the horizontal weft (2 FIG. 1) in the garment application are oriented in this way to obtain the best results in breathability and comfort. The chain warp constitutes the columns of the matrix and represents the thickest part of the fabric or net. Mainly made with braided eyelets, crossed and tightened also by the weft, which distances them parallel. The weft in this application is less thick and thinner than the chain stitch, and creates the rows of the matrix.
The weft is made up of single combined threads (eg one thread or two threads) also rolled or twisted; this serves to keep the columns spaced and joined together and performs this function on one side of the network, determining a profile that in section is composed of many n side by side (graphic example of similarity using the letter n: nnnnnnn), in which the horizontal parts of the letter are the weft and the vertical parts of the letter constitute the chain (FIG. 2 - mesh section). In the most performing application of the invention, the weft is used further away from the skin, while the chain or warp in pure cotton remains mainly in contact with the skin. In this version of use, the maximum performance of the invention is obtained. A less breathable winter version has also been created, used on the contrary, which partially traps quantities of air to keep it as an insulating pillow, which achieves the effect of goose down in the duvets.
As a consequence of the above, the fabric that realizes this solution of the invention designed for the most breathable use, has two different sides: the lower part of the section consisting of many n (nnnnnnnn) is in contact with the skin of the wearer, while the other side (the upper part of the n side by side is in contact with the outermost parts of any garment or accessory that it makes or in which it is used. In this way only the chain remains in contact with the skin (1 FIG. 2) warp or column, while the weft (2 FIG. 2) remains far away. In this way there is less fabric in contact with the skin, further improving perspiration. Turning the side gives both weft and warp a contact of the skin (n inverted, for example uuuuuuuu), increasing the amount of fabric in contact with the skin for a possible more winter or less breathable application. QUANTITY - The condition of only chain in contact with the skin, decreases the quantity 'of fabric to contact or with the wearer's skin itself, allowing the passage of thermal paths (phenomenon or characteristic of channeling) and the creation of heat vent chimneys (phenomenon or characteristic of natural or forced dispersion). In fact, in the empty sections of the n, transpiration and heat are channeled, both in a natural and forced convective way. The wearer's skin (C FIG. 3) constitutes the missing side of the channel and chimney (B FIG. 3). Also in this point B of figure 3 are shown both the chimney and the thermal and transpiration paths in section.
This solution solves the comfort problem of stagnant transpiration, creating an induced transpiration with natural circulation through a vertical vent chimney with a prevalent vertical thermal path. This solution works even in the absence of movement.
BELLOW EFFECT - In the presence of movement, the heat exchange and transpiration is increased by the bellows effect, for which every step or every contraction of the fabric and expansion of the same due to movement or breath, determine an exit of internal air first (contraction) and an external air inlet then (expansion). The operation is explained in detail: the closed elastic wefts that open, create a depression that draws air or fluids from the surroundings or from the outside or from any other layers; In this way, said bellows effect of transpiration and forced ventilation is generated, comparable to a lung that expands by attracting air from the outside during the opening of the mesh due to movements or breathing, and subsequently causes an exit of the air or fluid during the exhalation or the alternating movement of the wearer such as walking, the movement of the arms and trunk, through the elastic call to close.
This particular realization and textile construction condition, combined with further states of functional fabric, applied for example to limit the transparency of the net and / or for other functions of insect repellency and / or to protect against sunlight and / or to protect against wind and cold, it increases the breathable comfort in directions parallel to the skin and to the planes of the latter covered by the mesh, if the opaque fabric (A FIG. 3) allows transpiration, this keeps the mesh transpiration through the large mesh. Transpiration is facilitated both perpendicular and parallel to the skin. The different directions are made outside the net, that is, 'going out channeled by the warp or coming out of the meshes of the net.
DIMENSIONS - In the construction tests the best comfort results with the dimensions of the open mesh measuring 2 mm vertical by 3 mm horizontal (2x3mm), with a fabric count equal to 8, which allows to increase the thickness and width of the column or warp to a size equal to or greater than 1 mm. This minimum dimension constitutes the channel in section perpendicular to the tissue of 1x3 mm, of which three sides are the n, while the free side is closed by the skin.
The second technological answer to a second objective problem is the realization of elastic characteristics in the weft, obtained through a further particular device that is added. In this way an elasticity is obtained in the direction necessary for the comfort of wearability and movement, as well as to allow easy wearing of the garment, respecting the best orientation of the columns, which remain in the vertical direction to allow the chimney effect. . The elasticity in the weft tends to close the open meshes, preventing the passage perpendicular to the skin through the mesh openings. To overcome this problem, alternating elastic (E FIG. 1) and non-elastic (R FIG. 1) links have been made. The elastic links, indicated closer together because they are pulled by the elastic, open a lot when they are pulled horizontally. To ensure a perpendicular exit to the skin of both the thermal and transpiring paths, 4 openings or horizontal non-elastic meshes have been made, followed by two openings or elastic meshes. In this way a mesh fabric is obtained which alternates four (4) columns with a non-elastic weave with two (2) columns with an elastic weave. The alternation 2 and 4 achieves an excellent construction compromise that maintains the needs of comfort with those of heat and transpiration, combined with the need for less fabric in contact with the skin. The columns (chain or warp) can thus be made of 100% cotton while the wefts can be alternated with materials with percentages of elastic (e.g. indicative 5%)
SPACER CONCEPT - The mesh made according to the descriptions of the present invention achieves an important separation from the skin from any other fabric, precisely in the case of using the mesh itself as a lining for a garment. Furthermore, the solution of use cited allows an important transpiration mainly due to the spaced separation between skin (C FIG. 3) and fabric (A FIG. 3) obtained by the interposition of this particular mesh fabric.
DOUBLE LAYER and methods of use - It is possible to create layers so that there is no interference between the openings of the mesh. Here are some examples of embodiments without interference: first layer warp in contact with the second layer or the first layer warp in contact with the second layer chain. The overlapping chain chain does not work (chain of the first layer in contact with the chain of the second layer), as the interference would tend to interlock, closing the opening of the links. MULTIPLE LAYER 90 DEGREES - To increase the thickness of the invention, it is possible to create overlaps (layers) of the same, taking care to create this overlap with alternating layers preferably of 90 degrees, so that the weft of the first layer tends to be perpendicular to the weft of the second layer. Same thing goes for the warp. You can overlap more layers to achieve more important thicknesses. The advantage of this technique derives from the impossibility of interlocking the upper warp in the empty space of the lower warp. In fact, in this case the opening of the lower meshes would be closed by the upper warp. A further advantage of the crossed overlap derives from the possibility of creating multidirectional thermal ducts.
INTERCAP FUNCTION - The invention can be used to make a cavity or to replace a cavity of other material. Used both as a lining and as a cavity, it achieves interesting additional features.
COMFORT IN USO ABBINATO AD INTERCAPEDINE FASTIDIOSA COMFORT IN USE COMBINED WITH ANNOTING INTERSPACE
(INTERCAPEDINE PARZIALMENTE ABRASIVA O CON PARTI SEMIRIGIDE O CON PUNTE DI CELLULE APERTE) (INTERSPACE PARTIALLY ABRASIVE OR WITH SEMI-RIGID PARTS OR WITH OPEN CELL TIPS)
Another main feature of the invention is that of being able to solve the problem of the comfort of particular materials that can be used as a cavity, which cannot be directly in contact with the skin such as stinging, abrasive, pungent, rough or otherwise annoying materials in general. . By cavity we mean any material which can be used outside the invention and which is not in contact with the skin. Particular reference is made to foamed products with open cells or open cells, exploded in an autoclave with gas additives, including crosslinks based on polyamine and / or polyether and / or polyester.
