Abstract

The invention aims to sanitize the toilet seat-circle after each use, automatically, avoiding cleaning the seat-circle with paper or other or applying paper toilet-seat circles on it. The machine, object of the present invention, provides at the required moment the circle-seat of the toilet washed and sanitized automatically. The problem of washing and sanitizing the rim-seat is solved by virtue of the fact that they are not mounted (as in use so far) above the toilet, but are an integral part of the machine and independent of each other, so that at the time of use the lid with rotary movement moves sideways, at the same time the circle-seat exits the washing-sanitizing chamber obtained in the machine to rest on the toilet and return immediately after use. SUMMARY

The current state of the art includes the following components - Toilet, Rim-seat, Toilet lid.

These components are linked together forming a single object.

The user, who needs this service, by sitting on the seat-rim of this toilet, always feels uncomfortable, as between one use and another, the rim itself is not washed and much less sanitized. The invention in question aims to give the user safety as regards hygiene, so use it with tranquility.

Machine description:

Unlike the traditional toilet, where the cup, the seat-rim and the cup lid are connected together thus forming a single body, the toilet, compatible with this machine, can? be a normal toilet on the market today, but the rim-seat only at the time of use will come? ' called to rest on the edge of the cup, since it is stationed in a washing-sanitizing and drying chamber obtained in the machine according to the present invention, and is an integral part of the same.

The lid, instead of opening and closing with the up-down movement we all know, opens and closes by rotating horizontally. The lid is also an integral part of the machine.

In order to better show these and other specific characteristics of this machine, an example of embodiment of the same is now described with reference to the attached drawings in which the machine is shown in the consequential phases of its operation. Fig. 1 shows the machine at rest.

This machine, type cabinet (fig.l), has the following measures (which are indicative): height cm. 145; width 60 cm; depth cm. 20. It is made up of a frame and an external fairing for embellishment.

Sound-absorbing material is inserted between the two components. The frame is a formwork divided horizontally into three stages, open at the front; the upper part is intended to house the water loading tank 14 and the sanitizing tank 15 (fig. 6).

In the central part, closed at the front by two doors (fig. 5), there is the washing, sanitizing, drying chamber. It contains a tube 11, shaped in the shape of the seat-rim, anchored to the wall opposite the doors and equipped with forward-facing sprayers suitable for washing and sterilizing the seat-rim, which after each use of the toilet automatically falls back into this washing chamber performing the low-up movement from the cup to the washing chamber and ends its run in front of the sprayers. Visible in fig. 2.

A second tube 12 (fig. 5) shaped like the first and anchored close to it is equipped with special nozzles suitable for blowing hot air for drying the rim-seat.

After drying the circle remains inside the chamber. The lower part (fig. 7) contains the pressurizers for water and sanitizer and the hot air device.

Having an adequate wall behind the toilet, the frame can be easily embedded in the wall, thus gaining space in the bathroom, and eliminating the costs of external cladding.

The mechanisms can be of various types.

For series installations: in hospitals, hotels, communities etc..

The most convenient and simple system is a pneumatic type mechanism with air supplied by a central unit.

For single installations the system for the movements is hydraulic, for washing and sanitizing a pressure pump and for drying a hot air blower.

Pneumatic system:

In order to use the toilet, the user only has to press a button 13 on the ground with his foot which starts a cycle governed by an electronic control unit, sorting the commands to the various organs that make up the mechanism and then perform a complete cycle to all movements:

opening-closing of the toilet by rotating the lid, opening-closing doors of the washing chamber, and for the up-down movement of the rim-seat pneumatic actuators are used connected to the pneumatic network through solenoid valves controlled by the electronic control unit.

The washing and sanitizing of the rim-seat is carried out with pressurized water and sanitizer.

The water pressurizer (fig. 8) consists of a tank 16 of adequate capacity, which is supplied with water from the water mains after opening two solenoid valves: one 17 which allows the flow of water, the another 18 for evacuating the air from the tank. After filling, the valves close again.

At the right moment a third and fourth valve open: one 19 allows the passage of compressed air which, entering the tank, compresses the water, the other 20 allows the water to enter the canalization up to the sprayers 11 for washing. of the rim-seat.

For sanitation, the system is identical to that for washing.

To dry the seat-rim, a device is used consisting of an electrical resistance crossed by compressed air, which through a pipe reaches the nozzles 12 placed in front of the seat-rim, causing it to dry.

Movement description:

It takes place through a rotary pneumatic actuator 1 whose axis is integral with the cover 2.

Mixed system.

For single installations the system for the movements: opening-closing doors, top-bottom rim-seat, opening-closing cup lid, is hydraulic with actuators and hydraulic pump.

A suitable pump is required for forced washing and rim-seat sterilization.

A hot air blower is provided for drying the rim; all governed by an electronic control unit.

Two embodiments of this device have been described here, but all possible variants are included within the scope of the invention.

Description of the cycle:

- The user enters the bathroom and finds the toilet with the lid closed, the seat rim sanitized and ready for use;

The time taken by the machine to carry out the programmed operations is expected to be approximately one minute, excluding the time taken by the user to carry out his needs.
