Lo "Swim bike " è un veicolo acquatico a propulsione muscolare tramite pedali (di lunghezza 120 cm e peso circa 5 kg) costruito in materiale plastico auto-galleggiante adatto per spostamenti sia sulla superfìcie dell'acqua che in profondità. The "Swim bike" is an aquatic vehicle with muscle propulsion by means of pedals (120 cm long and about 5 kg weight) built in self-floating plastic material suitable for movement both on the surface of the water and in depth.

E' composto da un telaio portante in plastica, sulla quale sono fissati una scatola differenziale che trasforma la rotazione trasversale dei pedali nella rotazione longitudinale dell’ elica e da un'imbracatura rigida e anatomica che si fìssa nella parte inferiore del dorso permettendo la completa libertà di movimento del busto e delle braccia, (vedi fig.i). Swin-bike è dotato di 2 pinne trapezoidali collocate nella parte sottostante della scatola differenziale di dimensioni 300x600x3 mm. e una più piccola sottostante l’imbracatura che impediscono il capovolgimento e assicurano la stabilità e la direzionalità durante il moto. E’ possibile, inoltre, regolare la lunghezza del telaio in funzione della statura della persona e di smontare swìm-bìke in due unità distinte per minimizzare l’ingombro durante eventuali trasporti. Diversamente dalle idrobike o (acquabike) esistenti in commercio, lo swim-bike permette, tramite una pedaliera, di muoversi, con poca resistenza delle gambe, sia sulla superficie dell'acqua che in profondità grazie alla presenza del differenziale (vedi fìg. 2), con un movimento molto simile a quello compiuto per muovere una bicicletta in pianura, raggiungendo una velocità di circa 3 - 3,5 nodi orari. Rivendicazioni 1. Veicolo acquatico a propulsione muscolare tramite pedali in materiale plastico per spostamenti sia sulla superficie dell’acqua che in profondità; 2. Veicolo acquatico secondo la rivendicazione 1 caratterizzata dal fatto che la propulsione è data dai pedali; 3. Veicolo acquatico secondo la rivendicazione 1 caratterizzato dal fatto che tramite un sostegno addominale con imbracatura diventa solidale col corpo umano, posto in posizione orizzontale, agevolandone il moto attraverso l’acqua; 4. Veicolo acquatico secondo la rivendicazione 3 caratterizzato dal fatto che essendo il corpo umano un prolungamento del veicolo consente una elevata idrodinamicità; 5. Veicolo acquatico secondo la rivendicazione 3 caratterizzato dal fatto che sviluppando dal moto dell’elica notevole forza propulsiva e lasciando libero il movimento del busto e delle braccia permette il soccorso e il recupero di uomo in mare.Claims 1.
