DESCRIPTION

The present patent relates to sanitary appliances, particularly toilet bowls and specifically concerns an automatic toilet (or cup) cleaning device.

All toilets are equipped with a water drain that washes the walls of the toilet after use and causes the toilet itself to empty.

Often there is a brush near the toilet with which the user intervenes in the event that the water fails to clean the toilet.

This operation performed by the user is unhygienic, it is at the discretion of the user to perform it, if not done carefully it can dirty around the toilet.

It is important to note that this system currently widespread in all homes and public places causes the dispersion of infectious germs that can cause serious diseases.

To obviate all the aforementioned drawbacks, a new automatic toilet cleaning device has been studied and implemented. The new device consists in its main parts of an electric motor, a flexible arm, a brush in elastic material and a switch.

The motor, the flexible arm and the brush are joined together so that the operation of the motor generates an alternating movement of the arm and the brush.

The motor is housed under the rim of the toilet, preferably in the back.

The arm and the brush are connected to the motor so that the alternating movement imparted to them by the motor makes them slide on the internal rear and / or lateral surfaces of the toilet.

The switch is connected to the toilet flush mechanism.

Each time the flushing flow of the toilet is activated, the new device is activated and the electric motor moves the arm and the brush on the internal surface of the toilet with an alternating motion.

It is preferable to provide that the arm and the brush, when not in operation, are housed under an upper internal edge of the toilet.

The motor is preferably housed in the upper rear part of the toilet without excluding other positions depending on the shape of the toilet itself.

The new automatic toilet cleaning device offers significant advantages: the toilet is cleaned automatically at each flush without direct user intervention, there is no possibility of dirtying around the toilet, the user must not touch or pick up something, the brush and the arm are cleaned and rinsed by the same water flow as the drain.

In the attached table a practical embodiment of the invention is presented, by way of non-limiting example.

Figure 1 shows a vertical section of a toilet bowl (W) to which the new automatic cleaning device has been applied consisting of an electric motor (M), a flexible arm (B) and a brush in elastic material (S).

Figure 2 shows a top view of the same toilet (W) and the movement of the arm (B) and the brush (S) on the internal rear surface of the toilet (W) is highlighted. These are the schematic modalities sufficient for the skilled person to realize the invention, consequently, in concrete application there may be variations without prejudice to the substance of the innovative concept.

Therefore, with reference to the preceding description and to the attached table, the following claims are expressed.

CLAIMS 1. Automatic toilet cleaning device characterized by the fact of comprising an electric motor, a flexible arm, a brush and a switch connected to the toilet flush mechanism, and where the motor gives the arm and brush an alternating movement on the internal surface back of the toilet. 2. Automatic toilet cleaning device as per claim 1, characterized in that the brush is made of elastic plastic material. 3 Automatic toilet cleaning device as per claims 1, 2, characterized by the fact that the motor is housed under the inner edge of the toilet at the rear, and where the arm and brush are housed under the lateral inner edge of the toilet when the device is not is in operation.
