TEXT OF THE DESCRIPTION

This utility model concerns a new type of slush machine with vertical evaporator, with a single helix and an elliptical bowl in the upper part and a funnel in the lower part.

Also characteristic is the dispensing tap (4) with a single gasket (10) with double seal (10a - 10b) which keeps the product at -2 °, avoiding its deterioration.

Vertical slush machines traditionally have cylindrical shaped tanks which determine the machine's generous dimensions and low capacity. Furthermore, the position of the tap and the shape of the agitators do not allow the entire product to escape. What is more, in most cases, these machines have two motors for agitation.

These problems have made vertical machines obsolete compared to horizontal machines, which are small in size and large in capacity.

The purpose of the present invention is to create a machine with a vertical evaporator which, thanks to the particular shape of the tank, allows us to combine small dimensions and large capacity, characteristics of horizontal machines, eliminating sealing problems and other defects typical of the horizontal machines themselves.

The utility model is illustrated in the attached drawings A and B.

Drawing A shows the machine consisting of the particular tank (1), the evaporator (2), the helical agitator (3), the tap (4), the drip tray (5) and the machine body (6) in which they are contained the refrigeration system and gearmotors.

The particular shape of the tank (1), elliptical in the upper part and funnel-shaped in the lower part, allows the helical (3) to operate a perfect mixing in all points of the tank (1). Furthermore, the lower funnel-shaped part brings the tap hole (4) closer to the helical (3) which pushes all the product outwards. The elliptical shape of the tank in the upper part and funnel-shaped in the lower part forces the product, pushed by the helicoid (3) to turn in the tank (1) and to be sucked towards the evaporator (2) where it is pushed down and stirred.

Drawing B represents a tap for dispensing frozen slush, mounted on our machine, which includes the tank (1) and the tap pin (7), which, by moving backwards due to the thrust on the lever (8), allows the outlet of the slush through the orifice (9). The particular of the gasket (10a) does not allow the slush to invade the other parts of the tap. By releasing the lever (8), it automatically returns to its initial position due to the effect of the spring (11). The detail of the gasket (10b) closes the passage of the slush keeping it inside the tank at a temperature of -2 °, therefore perfectly preserved.

Naturally, the principle of the invention remaining the same, the embodiments and construction details may be varied widely with respect to those described and illustrated, without thereby departing from the scope of the present utility model.

CLAIMS 1) Machine for producing frozen granita with vertical evaporator (2), with a single propeller (3) and an elliptical bowl in the upper part and a funnel in the lower part. 2) Machine for producing frozen granita, as in claim 1, characterized by the fact that, being the tank (1) elliptical in the upper part and funnel-shaped in the lower part, it allows a single propeller (3) to mix the product in all the points of the tank (1). 3) Machine for producing frozen slush, as per the previous claims, characterized by the fact that the funnel shape of the lower part of the tank (1) allows the hole of the tap (4) to be brought closer to the propeller (3) and allows the complete exit of the product. 4) Machine for producing frozen slush, as per the previous claims, characterized by the fact that, being the lower part of the funnel bowl, the tap hole (4) is close to the propeller (3) which cleans it continuously, thus avoiding the formation of ice plugs. 5) Machine producing frozen sack, as in the previous claims, characterized by the fact that the particular shape of the tank (1) allows the propeller (3) to circulate the product inside the tank (1) and suck it towards the evaporator tube (2), ensuring a continuous heat exchange. 6) Machine for producing frozen slush, as per the previous claims, characterized by having a tap (4) with a single gasket (10) which performs a double seal (10a - 10b), keeping the frozen slush inside the container a - 2 ° perfectly preserved. 7) Machine for producing frozen slush, as in the preceding claims, characterized in that the shape of the tank (1) allows to limit the dimensions of the machine (width, depth and height) and to obtain large capacities of the tank (1) itself.
