Nell’ambito dei sistemi di videosorveglianza e telemetria in ambiente marino si pone il problema di proteggere dalle infiltrazioni dell’acqua la telecamera e la sensoristica con opportuni scafandri realizzati con contenitori stagni trasparenti. In the context of video surveillance and telemetry systems in the marine environment, the problem arises of protecting the camera and sensors from water infiltration with appropriate diving suits made with transparent watertight containers.

I materiali utilizzati per tali scafandri sono difficilmente forabili, essendo fragili, inoltre l’eventuale foro di passaggio cavi dati e di potenza rappresenta un punto debole del sistema scafandro introducendo limitazioni sulla profondità d’installazione dell’intero sistema di videosorveglianza e telemetria.
