In modo specifico, ma non esclusivo, esso trova utile applicazione come tenda da applicarsi in caso di bisogno per fare ombra sulle superfici più esposte in particolare di autovetture. Con riferimento alle menzionate figure, con 1 si è indicata una tenda di tipo autoavolgente dotata di un’estremità vincolata ad un organo di avvolgimento 3 montato su un telaio 4 e di un’estremità libera 5. Nella forma di realizzazione illustrata in figura 2 l’apparecchiatura comprende ben due tende autoavolgenti 1 associate in modo che i relativi telai 4 siano tra loro solidali. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Equipment for protecting motor vehicles from solar radiation characterized in that it includes: at least one curtain (1); means for anchoring said awning (1) to the vehicle (2); spacer means (8) designed to keep the awning (1), once spread, at a predetermined distance from the walls of the vehicle (2) above which it is placed.

2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said at least one curtain (1) is of the self-winding type provided with one end attached to a winding member (3) mounted on a frame (4) and with a free end (5).

3. Apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that said anchoring means comprise magnetic fastening members.

4. Apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that said anchoring means comprise suction cup fastening members.

5. Apparatus according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that at least a part of said anchoring means is associated with the frame (4) to which said self-rolling curtain (1) is supported; other means for anchoring being associated with said free end (5).

6. Apparatus according to claim 5, characterized in that said spacer means comprise spacer elements (8) shaped and sized to be interposed between said curtain (1) stretched and the surfaces of the vehicle (2) facing it.

Apparatus according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that it comprises two said self-retracting curtains (1) associated so that the relative frames (4) are mutually integral.

8. Apparatus for protecting motor vehicles from solar radiation according to the preceding claims and according to what is described and illustrated with reference to the figures of the attached drawings and for the purposes mentioned above.
