Sono noti gli apparati citofonici sia audio che video che collegano due o più locali o i vari appartamenti di abitazioni, uffici, alberghi, case di cura, di un fabbricato fra loro e con la portineria e direttamente con la pulsantiera per suoneria all’esterno del fabbricato.
