ESEMPIO EXAMPLE

Una foto a colori, delle dimensioni di cm 18x15 de IT opera “Vaso con Girasoli” (Vincent Van Gogh) fu sottoposta a scansione utilizzando uno scanner a tamburo collegato con un personal computer Mclntosh nel quale era installato il software Adobe Photoshop. Mediante elaborazione le dimensioni venivano riportate a cm 40x50. Utilizzando il software Photoshop i colori dell’immagine venivano trasformati in tonalità da bianche a nere passando attraverso vari toni di grigio. Il “file” ottenuto veniva inviato ad un ploter per ricavare una pellicola da utilizzare per la stampa su tela alimentata in continuo da una pila di tele singole trattate per pittura. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Process of reproduction in black and white of pictorial works which consists in obtaining a support from a heaped photograph of the original work and in reproducing from said support a black and white image on a continuously fed painting canvas.

2. Process according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the reproduction technique used is the offset printing technique.

3. Process according to claim 1, characterized in that the reproduction technique used is the printing technique by serigraphy or lithography.

4. Process according to the preceding claims, characterized by the intuition of the reproduction technique used, comprises the scanning of a photographic copy of the original, the processing of the file obtained at the desired size and the reproduction in black and white of the work on a support for later printing.

5. Black and white reproductions of pictorial works obtained according to any one of claims 1 to 4, mounted on a frame, capable of being completed by coloring.

6. Reproductions in black and white according to claim 6, characterized by being associated with color photographs of the originals and by technical data sheets showing the characteristics of the original work.
