“ESTRATTO ACQUOSO PER IL TRATTAMENTO DELLE USTIONI†⠀ œWATER EXTRACT FOR THE TREATMENT OF BURNSâ €
Campo dell’invenzione Field of invention
The present invention relates to an aqueous extract of wild chamomile, sea cistus, wild clover, parsley, helichrysum useful in the treatment of burns.
Stato dell’arte State of the art
Wild Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family.
Chamomile is known for its anti-inflammatory, digestive, tonic, sedative, anti-neuralgic properties.
The marine cistus (Cistus monspeliensis L.) is a shrub belonging to the Cistaceae family.
Dal Cisto marino viene normalmente estratta una resina chiamata ladano che trova impiego principalmente in profumeria dove viene utilizzata come fissativo. A resin called ladano is normally extracted from the marine cistus and is mainly used in perfumery where it is used as a fixative.
The wild clover (Trifolium campestre) is a herbaceous plant belonging to the Fabaceae family (or legumes).
Vegetable hormones, phytohormones, in particular estrogens, can be extracted from clover, which have been shown to be useful in slowing the aging of the skin and mucous membranes. These hormones have also proved effective in the treatment of typical disorders associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, depression, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases. Recently, the hormones extracted from clover have also proved useful against prostatic hypertrophy.
Parsley (Petroselinum hortense) is a plant that belongs to the Umbelliferae family.
Mainly parsley is used as a diuretic, purifying and aphoretic (the roots), emmenagogue (the seeds), antiseptic and antispasmodic.
The crushed leaf pack can be used to soothe insect bites, bruises and toothaches.
Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum L.) is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family.
Viene utilizzato come sedativo, bechico e stimolante della circolazione sanguigna. It is used as a sedative, bechico and stimulant of blood circulation.
There is a need to identify preparations useful in the topical treatment of burns in particular.
