Il gancio sagomato ruota attorno al bullone che lo unisce all'angolare per raggiungere la posizione desiderata, dopodiché può essere fissato con un ulteriore bullone in uno dei fori attorno al perno di rotazione (Tav. n. 1, dis. n.2). Questo sistema serve per agevolare la risalita e discesa dal tetto, dando la possibilità alla persona di sostenersi, inoltre dopo l'utilizzo i due tubolari possono essere reclinati in modo da scomparire all'interno della gronda. I tubolari dalla posizione orizzontale potranno ruotare attorno al bullone che gli unisce allo scatolato, ed avendo un asola alla base potranno essere inseriti in maniera telescopica all'interno dello scatolato in modo da resistere alle forze.
