Quando sul supporto (5) viene esercitata una azione meccanica a vite in senso orario, la basetta (3) con le parti (2) e (3 a), si abbassano provocando un contatto elettrico che determina la chiusura del circuito tra le polarità delle batterie, tale da alimentare il led infrarosso (4).
