SUMMARY

It is a tool that serves to clean the ear canal of the external ear from cerumen, without mechanical removal, but by melting it.

It is a small tool that is used to clean the ear canal of the external ear from the presence of ear wax, not by removing it mechanically1 but by melting it.

The tool has an end in absorbent material (oC in table 1, figure 1, for example cotton wool, gauze, ...), impregnated with a wax solvent that is not harmful to the person's health (for example hydrogen peroxide) .

This end goes inside the ear canal.

At the other end, the tool has larger dimensions, for example there is a ball, or a disk (β in table 1, figure 1 and figure 2), or an enlarged part, anatomically compatible with the external part of the ear.

The reason for this second enlarged extremity is to prevent the deep and total penetration of the instrument into the ear canal, and therefore to prevent any accidental damage to the tympanic membrane.

The tool must also be equipped, as an extension of this enlarged end, with an appendix (^ in table 1, figure 1 and figure 2) useful for being able to grasp it comfortably between the fingers and to be able to extract it from the ear canal, once was tucked into it.
