A fastening device for a portable telephone contained in a case (30), the fastening device comprising, - an engagement means (32) projecting from the case (30), a holder (10) for receiving the engagement means (32), and a clamp member (21) connected to the support (10) to fix the support (10) and the clamp itself on an item of clothing of the user; the engagement means (32) comprises a substantially elliptical plate (321) defining a long axis, a short axis and a collar (322) extending substantially from the center of the elliptical plate (321) and stably connected to the case (32); the support (10) comprises a base plate (11) and an upper plate (20) connected to the base plate (11), the base plate (11) defining a longitudinal slot (100) extending from one of its sides up to at a central point thereof, a first wall (110) being formed along the periphery of the base plate (11), a second wall (120) projecting from the base plate (11) substantially around the periphery of the slot (100), thus defining an edge (12) between the slot (100) and the second wall (120), the second wall (120) including two straight parallel portions (121) and a C-shaped portion (122) connected to the two straight parallel portions (121); the engagement means (32) sized to slide through the edge (12) around the slot (100), with the collar (322) passing through the slot (100) and the substantially elliptical plate (321) sliding along the edge ( 12) in the direction of the longitudinal axis; whereby the engagement means (32) can be manually rotated substantially ninety degrees inside the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) when the substantially elliptical plate (321) thereof slides to come into contact with the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120), thereby correctly positioning the engagement means (32) in the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) of the support (10).

A fastener for a portable telephone according to claim 5, in which a hole (144) is made in a corner of the body (14) of the locking device and a rod (161) is provided protruding from the second tab ( 16) to engage with rotation the hole (144) of the body (14).

A fastener for a portable telephone comprising: an engagement means (32) connected to a surface of the portable telephone case, a holder (10) for removably receiving the engagement means (32) and a clamp member (21) connected to the holder (10 ) to fix the support (10) and the clamp itself on an item of clothing of the user; the engagement means (32) comprising a substantially elliptical plate (321) defining a long axis (323) and a short axis (324) passing through the center thereof, a collar (322) extending substantially from the center of the elliptical plate ( 321), and a positioning plate (31) connected to the collar (322) and stably connected to the surface of the portable telephone; the support (10) comprising a base plate (11) and an upper plate (20) connected to the base plate (11), the base plate (11) defining a longitudinal slot (100) extending from one of its sides up to a central point of e.g., a first wall (110) being formed along the periphery of the base plate (11), a second wall (120) projecting from the base plate (11) substantially around the periphery of the slot (100) thereby defining an edge (12) between the slot (100) and the second wall (120), the second wall (120) including two straight parallel portions (121) and a C-shaped portion (122 ) connected to the two straight portions (121); the engagement means (32) being sized to slide across the edge (12) around the slot (100), with the collar (322) passing through the slot (100) and the substantially elliptical plate (321) sliding along the edge (12) in the direction of the longitudinal axis; whereby the engagement means (32) can be manually rotated substantially ninety degrees in the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) when the substantially elliptical plate (321) thereof slides to contact the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120), thus correctly positioning the substantially elliptical plate (321) in the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) of the support (10).

A fastener for a portable telephone according to claim 7, wherein the clamp (21) has a relatively long part (210) and a relatively short part (211) connected to the relatively long part (210), a hole ( 215) being formed in the relatively short part (211) and a threaded cavity (26) being formed in the upper plate (20) to allow a bolt (212) to engage the upper plate (20) through the relatively short part (211) , when the clamp (21) is applied to the user's clothing element, the relatively short portion (211) exerts tension on the clothing element to secure the clamp (21) together with the holder (10) on said element clothing, with a head (212A) of the bolt (212) resting against the clothing member so as to increase the locking action of the clamp (21) thereon.

A fastener for a portable telephone comprising two halves or covers connected together and forming a peripheral groove therebetween, the fastener comprising; an engagement means (32) connected to a surface by the portable telephone case, a holder (10) for removably receiving the engagement means (32) and a clamp member (21) connected to the holder (10 ) to fix the support (10) and the clamp itself on an item of clothing of the user; the engagement means (32) comprising a substantially elliptical plate (321) defining a long axis (323) and a short axis (324) passing through the center thereof, a C-shaped plate (81) which comprises two appendages (811) extending from its two ends to engage with the peripheral groove of the portable telephone, and a collar (322) extending from the center of the elliptical plate (321) to join the C-shaped plate (81); the support (10) comprising a base plate (11) and an upper plate (20) connected to the base plate (11), the base plate (11) defining a longitudinal slot (100) extending from one of its sides up to at a central point thereof, a first wall (110) being formed along the periphery of the base plate (11), a second wall (120) projecting from the base plate (11) substantially around the periphery of the slot (100) defining thus an edge (12) between the slot (100) and the second wall (120), the second wall (120) including two straight parallel portions (121) and a C-shaped portion (122) connected to the two portions straight parallels (121); the engagement means (32) being sized to slide across the edge (12) around the slot (100), with the collar (322) passing through the slot (100), the substantially elliptical plate (321) sliding along the edge (12) in the direction of the longitudinal axis; whereby the engagement means (32) can be manually rotated substantially ninety degrees inside the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) when the substantially elliptical plate (321) thereof slides to come into contact with the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120), thus correctly positioning the substantially elliptical plate (321) inside the C-shaped portion (122) of the second wall (120) of the support (10).

A fastener for a portable telephone according to claim 11, further comprising a friction plate (82) positioned between the U-shaped plate (81) and a surface of the portable telephone 90 to increase the sliding resistance therebetween , thereby preventing the U-shaped plate (81) from sliding along the surface of the portable telephone.

A fastener for a portable telephone according to claim 11, wherein the clamp (21) has a relatively long part (210) and a relatively short part (211) connected to the relatively long part (210), a hole ( 215) being formed in the relatively short part (211) and a threaded cavity (26) being formed in the upper plate (20) to allow a bolt (212) to engage the upper plate (20) to the relatively short part (211); when the clamp (21) is applied to the user's clothing item, the relatively short portion (211) exerts tension on the clothing item to secure the clamp (21) together with the holder (10) on said clothing item , with a head (212A) of the bolt (212) resting against the clothing element so as to increase the locking action of the clamp (21) thereon.

A fastening device for a portable telephone according to claim 11, further comprising a pin (18) extending from the base plate (11), a first slot (110A) formed in the first wall (110) of the base plate (11) ), a second slot (120A) obtained in the second wall (120) of the base plate (11), a first cavity (19A) and a second cavity (19B) obtained in the base plate 11, a locking device (13) comprising a body (14) which includes a boss (140) for receiving the pivot pin (18) projecting from the base plate (11) and a saddle portion (141) extending externally to the first slot (110A) of the first wall (110 ) to allow to be operated by a user, a first tab (15) extending from the body of the device (14), and a second tab (16) rotatably connected to the body (14) of the locking device; whereby the locking device (13) can assume a condition not locking device in which the projection (151) of the first tab (15) is received in the first cavity (19A) of the base plate (11) and an end of the second tab (16) is held in the second slot (120A) of the second wall (120) allowing the substantially elliptical plate (32) to slide along the edge (12), or a locking condition in which the projection (151) is received in the second cavity (19B) of the base plate (11) and the end of the second tab (16) is held beyond the second slot (120A) of the second wall (120) so as to lock the edge (12) of the base plate (11).

A fastening device for a portable telephone according to claim 11, in which a hole (144) is made in a corner of the body (14) of the locking device and a rod (161) is provided for sporting from the second tab (16) to engage with rotation the hole (144) of the body (14) of the locking device.
