Altre applicazioni consentono di ascoltare musica dalla radio, guardare programmi tv o memorizzare musica direttamente nella memoria permanente del telefono. In definitiva il telefonino è sempre più uno strumento di ausilio sia nel lavoro che durante il tempo libero ed è sempre più di uso comune. Ad esempio esiste da tempo un bracciale in tessuto studiato appositamente per consentire una applicazione al braccio del cellulare.
