Così facendo risulta avere un coefficiente di trasmittanza termica migliore rispetto agli equivalenti profilati con all’interno aria a pressione atmosferica. Per creare il sottovuoto all’interno dei profilati si devono chiudere le estremità in modo da ottenere delle camere perfettamente chiuse stagne nelle quali creare il sottovuoto tramite fori o valvole da richiudere dopo aver creato il sottovuoto.
