Esso si basa sul principio della leva avente come fulcro il centro del coperchio del barattolo forato e fissato dall’ apriscatole stesso, la rondella tagliente è la resistenza della leva che nel movimento rotatorio che gli viene impresso perfora la lamiera seguendo il bordo rialzato del barattolo. Il punto di forza è costituito dalla pressione manuale esercitata sul manico dell’apriscatole che permette di aprire barattoli di metallo circolari di qualsiasi dimensione. Per la realizzazione di un prototipo ho utilizzato un normale cacciavite al quale ho acuminato la punta, inserito nell’asta una rondella tagliente e realizzato un doppio gomito in prossimità’ della punta. Funzionamento: appoggiare la punta nel centro del coperchio del barattolo, con un colpo sull’impugnatura, forare il coperchio, infilare l’apriscatole nel foro fino al primo gomito e posizionare l’asta in orizzontale. Fare scorrere la rotella fino al bordo del barattolo, esercitare pressione sul manico e ruotare a 360 gradi con una mano mentre l’altra tiene il barattolo in posizione ferma.
