Sono noti bagagli come valige, borse, custodie per attrezzature sportive, strumenti musicali e simili del tipo rigido o semirigido provvisti di almeno due rotelline per essere trainate a mano tramite maniglie estraibili o fisse. I sistemi noti di traino permettono lo spostamento soltanto di un bagaglio carrellarle o non carrella bile, per mano con lo svantaggio che, per esempio uno sportivo o un musicista in viaggio con la sua attrezzatura, rispettivamente con lo strumento musicale, riesce a spostarsi in modo autonomo solamente con un ulteriore bagaglio.
