This utility model relates to an optical measurement and control instrument.

There are known static optical measuring and control instruments, which are neither portable nor easy to handle.

The main purpose of this article is to propose a portable and convenient optical control and measurement tool to be used to check - the pupillary reflexes: direct, consensual and accommodative,

- the proximate point of convergence;

- the next accommodation point;

- the visuo-postural reflex and with the help of table n.17 / near optotype; And

measuring the difference between hand and binocular accommodation.

Another object of the present invention is to propose an optical measuring instrument which, due to the arrangement and combination of parts, is very advantageous in terms of assembly and costs and is suitable to be used with extreme ease of handling for all the contemplated checks.

Said objects are achieved with an optical meter according to at least claim 1.

The instrument proposed here comprises a box-like body 11, two light sources in the form of bulbs 12,13, power batteries 14, a switch 15 and a roll-up meter 16.

The box-like body 11 is elongated and is preferably but not necessarily made of plastic material.

The bulbs 12,13 are placed inside the box body, powered by the batteries 14 through the switch 15 which opens and closes the power supply circuit that leads to the batteries. A first bulb 12 is positioned near a head side of the body 11 in correspondence with a first hole 12 for the output of the light radiation.

The second bulb 13 is placed adjacent to a side wall of the body in correspondence with a second hole 13 'of light output.

The switch 15 is embedded in the box-like body 11 with a button at the level of a wall of the body itself.

The rolling meter 16 has a tape bearing measurement scales both in centimeters and inches and removable from the box body 11 through a slot 16 'made in the longitudinal side of the body itself from which the light radiation of the second bulb comes out.

The first light source 12 can be used for direct, consensual, accommodative control of pupillary reflexes. The second light source 13 can be used for convergence control. The retractable / roll-up ruler is used for every required measurement.

The instrument can also be equipped with an optotype 17 applied permanently or removably to one side of the box body for a measurement of the differences between mono and binocular accommodation with the help of the tape measure.

However, it is also possible to provide for a realization of the instrument with a single light source without thereby leaving the scope of the truss. Furthermore, a reference aiming point 20 may also be reproduced on the body for making linear measurements with the meter without resorting to the light source.
