DESCRIPTION

The object of the present invention is a device for filtered breathing, particularly suitable for being mounted on a pair of glasses.

Specifically, especially in large cities, the problem of pollution and smog is increasingly felt. In order to combat this problem, masks are generally used, for example made of fabric, suitable for being positioned by the user, on his own airways, such as nose and mouth, so that breathing is filtered. In fact, the mask filters the air from fine dust and the user breathes clean air.

However, these masks have a series of disadvantages due primarily to their shape; specifically, they make the use of glasses particularly difficult as both the mask and the glasses are placed on the nose. In addition, the masks are generally not suitable for adhering completely to the user's face, for example above the cheeks, leaving areas where air can enter without being filtered, thus going beyond the scope of the mask itself.

For more specific and particular purposes, for example in the workplace, very complex masks or devices are usually known, suitable for filtering the air in such a way that unwanted substances are not inhaled by the user, even accidentally. Obviously these products are of important dimensions with structures that are also particularly complex; they are therefore products of impractical use and of difficult and expensive production.

The purpose of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks linked to the solutions of the known art, continuing to fulfill the required requirements; in particular by providing a device for filtered breathing suitable for practical use, since it can be mounted on a pair of glasses, so that its use is not limited.

Said purposes are achieved by a device for filtered respiration such as the one described below and claimed in claim 1.

Further advantageous characteristics are protected in the dependent claims.

The characteristics and advantages of the device for filtered breathing according to the present invention will be evident from the description given below, given by way of non-limiting example in accordance with the attached figures, in which: - Figure 1 shows a breathing device filtered according to the present invention, according to an embodiment;

Figure 2 shows a device for filtered respiration according to the present invention, in accordance with a further embodiment.

With reference to the attached figures, 1 indicates a pair of goggles, and number 10 indicates a device for filtered breathing.

In particular, the device for filtered breathing 10 is suitable for being mounted on said pair of glasses 1, and more generally on a pair of glasses of any type or shape, whether they are eyeglasses or sunglasses.

In a preferred embodiment, the filtered breathing device 10 allows the user to breathe. In fact, the respiration, and specifically both the inhalation phase and the exhalation phase, occurs preferably only through, but above all thanks to the filtered breathing device 10; in particular, the device is suitable for preventing the breathing of air from the unfiltered environment.

The device 10 comprises an insulating element 15 suitable for isolating the airways from the environment, and specifically from the air present in the environment.

The insulating element 15 also has, near said airways, a breathing chamber suitable for containing air.

In a preferred embodiment the insulating element 15 is suitable to be placed close to the nose only, isolating it from the air; in a further embodiment the insulating element 15 is suitable to be placed near the nose and mouth, isolating them from the air.

Preferably the insulating element 15 is suitable for resting on the face of the user in such a way as to avoid that there is a passage, even accidental, of air coming from the environment. Preferably the insulating element 15 rests, making a seal, on the face of the user. Preferably the insulating element is of plastic or rubber material.

In one embodiment the insulating element 15 is designed in such a way as to contain the user's nose and / or mouth.

For example, in one embodiment the insulating element 15 comprises two portions, a first specific portion to contain the nose, and a second specific portion to contain the mouth. Preferably the second portion is optional and suitable for cooperating with the first portion in such a way as to connect it to this at will. Specifically, the second portion is suitable to be inserted in the first portion and specifically in the breathing chamber which therefore is shared by both nose and mouth.

In a variant embodiment, the insulating element 15 is instead suitable for inserting into the user's airways, for example in the nose rather than in the mouth, or in both; for example the insulating element 15 comprises one or more tubes suitable for being inserted into one's nose by the user; or still the insulating element 15 comprises a mouthpiece suitable for being inserted into its own mouth by the user; as said in one embodiment, the insulating element 15 comprises both the tubes and the mouthpiece.

In a preferred embodiment, the device for filtered breathing 10 comprises means for the passage of filtered air, specifically connected to the insulating element 15 and in particular in fluid communication with the breathing chamber. In a preferred embodiment, the means for the passage of filtered air have a tubular shape. In other embodiments, the means for the passage of filtered air have different shapes, for example rectangular or quadrangular.

Said means for the passage of filtered air comprise at least one inspiration channel 20. The inspiration channel 20 is connected to the insulating element 15, in particular the breathing chamber in fluid communication.

In fact, the inspiration channel 20 has at least one access hole 21 through which, in the inspiration phase, the air is sucked.

In a preferred embodiment, the inhalation channel 20 is made with a tubular element, such as a tube, a small tube or the like, continuing for example the shape of the means for filtered respiration.

Preferably, the means for the passage of filtered air are made of a deformable material, such as rubber or plastic or the like; in fact, in a preferred embodiment, the inspiration channel 20 is suitable for adapting to the shape of the pair of glasses itself, in particular to its edge, in particular to the shape of the lenses 2 and of the possible structure 5 around them.

In fact, the means for the passage of filtered air are preferably placed in proximity to, preferably around, the lenses 2 of the glasses; preferably the means for the passage of filtered air are located under the lenses 2, in proximity to the airways.

In a preferred embodiment, the means for the passage of the filtered air comprise at least one filter 22. The filter 22 is suitable for blocking some particles contained in the air, specifically the smog particles.

Preferably, the filter 22 is suitable for blocking fine dust, such as PM10 for example; in other words, the filter 22 is suitable for blocking fine dusts, ie having diameters up to about 1 µm.

In a preferred embodiment the filter 22 is positioned between the airways and the air access areas; preferably between the breathing chamber and the air access areas. For example, the filter 22 is positioned inside the inspiration channel 20, specifically in the access hole 21. In this way, the air that, when inhaled, reaches the insulating element 15 is filtered and pure.

Preferably, the means for the passage of the filtered air provide access elements, in particular suitable for allowing access and therefore the insertion and replacement of the filter 22 inside the inhalation channel. For example, an access cap is provided on the inhalation channel rather than a door.

Preferably, said means for the passage of filtered air can be connected to the pair of glasses 1.

For example, the filtered air passage means can be connected to the structure 5 of the pair of glasses 1 or directly to a lens 2.

In a preferred embodiment, the device for filtered respiration 10 comprises coupling means 30 suitable for fixing said device 10 to the pair of glasses 1.

Preferably, said fixing is carried out easily by the user; preferably the fixing is of the removable type, so that the device for filtered breathing 10 can be assembled and disassembled at will, and according to the needs, by the user.

For example, the coupling means 30 are composed of one or more pincer elements 31 positioned on the means for the passage of filtered air and suitable for interacting with the pair of glasses 1 in such a way as to be fixed thereto. In a preferred embodiment, the coupling means 30, and in particular the gripper element 31, are made of an elastically yielding material so that, when the device for filtered breathing 10 is mounted on the pair of glasses 1, remain in tension staring at it. It is therefore the breathing device 10, and specifically its coupling means 30, which adapt to the pair of glasses 1 to perform the fastening.

Preferably the pair of glasses 1, in particular its structure 5 rather than a lens 2 thereof, is suitable for being inserted inside the coupling means 30 so that, thanks to their flexible elastic characteristics, they are fixed to the aforementioned pair of glasses 1.

In fact, by applying a force to the device for filtered respiration 10 contrary to the direction of insertion of the aforementioned device 10 in the pair of glasses 1, the force of the coupling means 30 is overcome and the device 10 is detached and removed from the pair of glasses 1 .

In a preferred embodiment, the gripper elements 31 are made of a material which does not damage the lenses 2 of the pair of glasses 1.

In a preferred embodiment, the device for filtered respiration 10 comprises means for exhalation 40.

In a preferred embodiment, the means for exhalation 40 are positioned in proximity to the airways. For example, the means for exhalation 40 are positioned on the insulating element 15; specifically in fluid communication with the breathing chamber.

In a preferred embodiment, the means for exhalation 40 comprise a valve 41, adapted to allow the air to escape, but to prevent its entry. For example, the valve 41 is suitable for opening in the exhalation phase and to remain closed in the inhalation phase.

Specifically, the exhaled air comes out only through the valve 41 and not through the inhalation channel 20 as the outgoing air is hindered by the presence of the filter 22 and its intrinsic characteristics. In particular, the valve 41 has in fact a larger passage section than the diameter of the passage section of the filter 22.

Innovatively, the device for filtered breathing is suitable for use in conjunction with a pair of glasses, the use of which is therefore not inhibited.

Advantageously, the device can be adapted to any type of glasses without any limitation on its shape.

Advantageously, the device can be removably mountable to a pair of glasses; in particular, by means of simple operations, the device is fixed to the eyewear rather than detached from it.

Advantageously, only filtered air reaches the airways used for breathing and directly affected by the device.

Advantageously, the exhaled air comes out only through the means for exhalation and in particular from the valve included in them; in this way, in fact, the means for inspiration, and in particular the filter, are not ruined. The filter is, in fact, advantageously used only in the inhalation phase and never in the exhalation phase.

To the embodiments of the aforementioned breathing device, a person skilled in the art, in order to meet specific needs, could make variations or replacements of elements with other functionally equivalent ones.

In a further variant of embodiment, the device for filtered breathing can be provided directly connected to, or even obtained in, the pair of glasses; for example, some details of the device can be obtained directly in the frame of the eyewear.

These variants are also included in the scope of protection as defined by the following claims. Furthermore, each variant described as belonging to a possible embodiment is achievable independently of the other variants.

Claims (8)

CLAIMS 1. Filtered breathing device (10) adapted to be fitted to a pair of goggles (1), comprising: - an insulating element (15) suitable for isolating the airways from the external environment and having a breathing chamber near said airways; - means for the passage of filtered air in fluid communication with said breathing chamber, comprising a filter (22) suitable for filtering the inspired air from fine dust; - means for exhalation (40) positioned near the airways, suitable for allowing the air to escape from the breathing chamber; and - attachment means (30) suitable for fixing in a removable manner the device for filtered breathing (10) to the pair of goggles (1). Filtered respiration device (10) according to claim 1, wherein the means for the passage of filtered air comprise an inhalation channel (20) having at least one access hole (21) through which, in the inhalation phase , The air is inhaled and in which the filter (22) is housed in said inhalation channel (20). Filtered breathing device (10) according to claim 2, wherein the inhalation channel (20) is adapted to adapt to the shape of the edges of the pair of glasses (1). 4. Device for filtered respiration (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the exhalation means (40) comprise a valve (41), positioned in proximity to the airways, suitable for allowing the exit of air, preventing it the entrance. Device for filtered breathing (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the coupling means (30) comprise gripper elements (31) positioned on the means for the passage of filtered air and / or on the insulating element (15) in such a way as to interact with the pair of glasses (1) and to be fixed, in a removable way, to it.
