La presente innovazione ha per oggetto un contenitore per dispositivi ortodontici rimovibili. The present invention relates to a container for removable orthodontic devices.

È noto che nella pratica ortodontica vengono comunemente impiegati svariati dispositivi destinati ad agire sulle arcate dentali in modo da realizzare il trattamento delle malformazioni dentali. In particolare è noto l’impiego di dispositivi ortodontici rimovibili, di tipo intraorale ed extraorale. L’impiego di tali dispositivi ortodontici rimovibili ha posto da tempo il problema di realizzare un contenitore atto a conservare nelle migliori condizioni il dispositivo negli intervalli di tempo in cui il paziente svolge delle attività che non ne consentono l'applicazione nella cavità orale. Sono stati pertanto proposti contenitori realizzati di materiali diversi, ad esempio materiali plastici atossici, usualmente rigidi, atti a svolgere le funzioni richieste di igiene e protezione del dispositivo. Claims

CLAIMS 1) Container for removable orthodontic devices, of the type consisting of a pair of shells (2, 3) able to be associated with each other to form a box with the relative lid, able to contain an intraoral part of an orthodontic device removable, characterized in that said box (2) has internally applied, on the bottom, a mirror (7) for checking the application of the aforesaid orthodontic device.

2) Container according to claim 1, characterized in that said mirror (7) is applied in correspondence with a housing seat defined by a relief (8) shaped, according to a rectangular profile, on the bottom of said box (2).

3) Container according to claim 2, characterized in that said mirror (7) is interlocked in correspondence with said housing seat.

4) Container according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that said mirror (7) is fixed immovably inside said box (2).

5) Container according to claim 1, characterized in that said box (2) has along the edge at least one pair of symmetrical cavities (9) intended to create, in the closing configuration of the container itself, passage holes for the relative extraoral elements of the called orthodontic device.

6) Container according to claim 1, characterized in that said shells (2, 3) have along one side, substantially rectilinear, a section 4 of mutual union, of reduced thickness, suitable to act as a hinge member for opening and the closure of said box, and have a rounded profile, starting from said rectilinear side of mutual union, with said box (2) having a constant depth and said lid (3) having a convex shape, raised at the front.
