Claims

CLAIMS 1. Carpet-perch for nests and cages of laying hens, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of strips (6) defining empty spaces (7) for the dropping of the droppings of the hens (5), having a cross section substantially tapered towards above, the bases (8) of said strips (6) being mutually connected by a plurality of connecting segments (9).

2. Carpet-perch according to claim 1, in which said strips (6) are made of elastically flexible material.

3. Carpet-perch according to claim 2, in made of rubber, or para, or flexible plastic.

4. Carpet-perch according to one of the preceding claims, in which said strips (6) are closed to define concentric circumferences.

5. Carpet-perch according to the preceding claim, in which said connecting segments (9) are arranged substantially in a radial pattern.

6. Carpet-perch according to one of claims 1 to 3, in which said strips (6) are substantially rectilinear and parallel to each other.

7. Carpet-perch according to the preceding claim, in which said connecting segments (9) are arranged substantially perpendicular to said strips.

Carpet-perch according to one of the preceding claims, in which said connecting segments (9) are rigid or flexible.

Carpet-perch according to one of the preceding claims, in which said connecting segments (9) are connected permanently or non-permanently to said strips (6).

10. Carpet-roost according to one of the preceding claims, in which each of said strips (6) has base (8) facing down.

11. Carpet-perch according to the preceding claim, in which each of said strips (6) has a cross section substantially shaped as an isosceles triangle with a rounded upper vertex (10).

12. Carpet-perch according to the preceding claim, in which each of said strips (6) has a width at the base (8) of about 5-10 mm and at the vertex (10) of about 2 mm, said strips (6) being high about 50 mm and separated from each other by empty spaces (7) of at least 20-30 mm.
