Description
Brevetto per Invenzione Industriale dal titolo “METODO DI SABBIATURA SU PELLE LUCIDA E PRODOTTO 0TTENUT02. Patent for Industrial Invention entitled “SANDBLASTING METHOD ON GLOSSY LEATHER AND 0TTENUT02 PRODUCT.
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The object of the result is a new and original type of processing on glossy leather capable of obtaining a glossy-matt effect with different shades. In the field of leather processing, various methods are known for obtaining various effects on the leather. Methods implemented with chemical agents, such as colors or reagents capable of obtaining color variations, constitute various processes on leather. These methods, in addition to obtaining a poor aesthetic effect, can produce toxic effects in the processing residues on the leather used for clothing, accessories or shoes. Furthermore, the disposal of used chemicals involves high costs for companies. The object of the result is a processing method and a product obtained with this method capable of avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages. The method used provides, in fact, a type of mechanical processing given by the action of an abrasive medium, such as corundum, capable of obtaining any design and in different degrees of opacity. The invention is illustrated purely by way of indication and as such not limiting to figures 1 and 2 of sheet 1 where the sandblasting steps to obtain the resulting processing are illustrated, while figures 3 and 4 are views of drawings on sheet 2. with different sandblasting with different opacity zones. In fact, the method involves different abrasive grains applied in different areas to obtain a more or less accentuated opaque effect in ha if the method of sandblasting on shiny leather and the product obtained involves in succession of phases: the use of a compressed air gun or of an airbrush in which corundum 2 sprayed on shiny leather 3 is introduced to exit in a jet of air 1; the presence of masks 4, arranged on the glossy wall 3, to obtain the design 5 volutes with areas of different opacity 6. The type of corundum used can be white corundum composed of 99.30% aluminum oxide (A1203), 0.15% silicon (Si02), 0.15% ferric oxide (Fe203), titanium dioxide (Ti02> 0.10%, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide (CaO MgO) 0.30% and traces of sodium oxide potassium oxide (Na20 K20). Corundum is used according to the skin on which it is going to engrave as an abrasive medium and red-brown corundum with composition A1203 at 95.30%, Si02allo 0 can also be used, 70%, Fe203 at 0.40%, Ti02 at 3%, CaO MgO at 0.50% and traces Na20 K20 equal to about 0.1%. The abrasive grains used are from 80 to 120 microns in size according to the different degree of opacity to be obtained on the leather. This method can be applied not only to shiny leather, but also to nappa leather, suede, pony skin and cowhide. With this method it is therefore possible to obtain processes that are not possible with the moti methods, as it is possible to obtain contrasts, shades and precision on the desired design that cannot be obtained with chemical methods. The leather obtained has, in fact, clear and precise shades such as to determine a new type of product. In addition, the possibility of varying the intensity of the abrasion on the skin and the degree of opacity, using abrasive grains of different sizes, also allows to obtain effects at different perceived depths on the product processed and obtained with this method. The method object of the result is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all falling within the scope of the inventive concept, as well as all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones.
