La richiedente produce da tempo una macchina compattatrice di rifiuti per mense, fast-food, ristoranti, ospedali, centri commerciali, parchi di divertimento, od altri adibiti a feste, fiere o sagre, postazioni di vending o per altri luoghi, dotata di almeno una tramoggia nella quale l’utente versa i rifiuti da smaltire, in genere sia solidi che liquidi e che è dotata di presse a coclea e di mezzi per compattare i rifiuti stessi, per separare per gravità l’eventuale parte liquida da quella solida e per scaricare le due parti in rispettivi contenitori posti ad esempio su un carrello o cassetto che periodicamente viene estratto per consentire la sostituzione e lo svuotamento degli stessi contenitori allorché pieni. A richiesta la macchina può essere predisposta per lo scarico diretto dei rifiuti liquidi nella rete fognaria e per lo scarico diretto dei rifiuti solidi e compattati in un cassonetto posto all’ esterno del locale nel quale è collocata la stessa macchina. Oltre che richiedere la periodica sostituzione e lo svuotamento dei detti contenitori, la macchina deve essere soggetta a periodiche e semplici manutenzioni, che consistono ad esempio nel pulire con piccole quantità di prodotto igienizzante delle zone prestabilite ed usualmente esterne della stessa macchina, o nell’ intervenire in caso di arresto della macchina stessa, con protocolli prestabiliti e di facile esecuzione anche da parte del personale di servizio. La macchina come attualmente prodotta, è in genere dotata di una piccola interfaccia col processore interno, utile prevalentemente per il personale tecnico specializzato che periodicamente o su richiesta controlla la condizione di lavoro della macchina stessa e che provvede ad effettuare manutenzioni specializzate per le quali solitamente si dispone di mezzi di programmazione, di controllo e di diagnosi da collegare alla detta interfaccia e che prevedono l’uso ad esempio di un PC portatile e di una piccola unità di stampa. Per educare e sensibilizzare le persone all’uso delle macchine dianzi dette, che sono relativamente recenti e che non tutti conoscono ed anche per istruire in modo efficace e rapido il personale di servizio dei luoghi nei quali viene installata la detta macchina compattatrice, si è pensato che sarebbe estremamente utile dotare la stessa macchina, di almeno un monitor di adeguate dimensioni, opportunamente sistemato per una visione sufficientemente chiara e panoramica e corredato di mezzi per diffondere periodicamente delle immagini e delle spiegazioni visive e sonore, che dimostrino come la macchina deve essere usata da parte degli avventori, che dimostrino le finalità ecologiche della stessa macchina e per far si che, a domanda da parte del personale di servizio od automaticamente al manifestarsi di taluni eventi, sullo stesso monitor appaiano delle immagini e/od una lista di istruzioni per illustrare allo stesso personale di servizio le operazioni da effettuare e le attenzioni da porre in atto nella esecuzione di queste stesse operazioni di periodica manutenzione della macchina.
