In this light, headphones provided with internal protrusions which act as skin stimulating elements are known (for example in the patent document WO03065965). These headphones are put on the head, after which the person massages himself by exerting pressure with his hands on the top of the cap.

The drawback of these devices is that they involve physical exertion for the massage, forcing the person to stay in an uncomfortable position for a long time. Furthermore, another drawback is constituted by the fact that people who use such headphones in general are not experts in massages, so that a wrong action could also be counterproductive.

Helmets or rigid structures are also known (for example in US3763853 or US5188097) which comprise a plurality of vibrating fingers placed in contact with the skull to stimulate it.

Such devices are disadvantageous as they are inconvenient to use and even dangerous, as they include rigid structures in direct contact with the skull, which risk transmitting excessive and harmful vibrations.

The object of the present invention is to make available a device applicable to a head for stimulating the scalp which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks of the known art.

In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a device applicable to a head to stimulate the scalp capable of promoting hair growth and offering a relaxing massage of the skull, without the person making efforts or running the risk of excessive stimulation. .

A further object of the present invention is to propose a particularly comfortable and versatile device for stimulating the scalp and massaging the skull.

Said purposes are fully achieved by the device according to the present invention, which is characterized by the contents of the claims reported below and in particular by the fact that it comprises a vibrating system operatively connected to an external surface of the cap to vibrate said protrusions automatically. .

The device 1 comprises a cap 2 shaped so that it can be fitted on the head.

The cap 2 has an internal surface, which faces the head when the cap is fitted therein, and an external surface.

The cap 2 is provided, on its internal surface, with projections 3 facing inwards to interact with the scalp.

For the projections 3 different embodiments are provided, with reference to their length and flexibility (the projections 3 are preferably made of plastic material), in relation to the main intended use for the device 1.

In particular, a greater length and a lower flexibility are provided for the projections 3 for the massage of the skull (in this case the device 1 is also intended to be used by people with long hair).

Conversely, a shorter length and greater flexibility for stimulation of the scalp are provided for the protrusions 3 (in this case the device 1 is intended to be used mainly by people with short hair or with baldness problems). The cap 2 is shaped in such a way as to be able to adapt to the conformation of the head. In this light, the cap 2 is deformable, preferably elastically deformable.

The device also originally comprises a vibrating system 4 operatively connected to an external surface of the cap 2 to vibrate the projections 3; therefore, the projections are moved automatically by the vibrating system 4. The vibrating system 4 comprises a plurality of vibrating elements 5 arranged on the outer surface of the hood and operatively connected to an electrical power source.

In the preferred embodiment illustrated, each vibrating element 5 comprises an electric vibrator 6 inserted in a defined housing 7 of the cap 2.

In particular, the hood 2 defines on its external surface a plurality of housings 7 (or hollows) intended to accommodate as many electric vibrators 6. Furthermore, the vibrating element 5 comprises an upper shell 8 covering the vibrator 6.

The shell 8 preferably defines a lateral opening for the pressure insertion of the vibrator 6, ie the shell 8 defines a housing for the vibrator.

The power supply source comprises for example a battery or an electrical accumulator 9. In the preferred embodiment illustrated, the battery 9 is contained in a box-shaped body 10 associated with the cap 2 (in particular associated with the external surface of the cap 2). The box-like body 10 constitutes a housing in which the battery 9 connected to the vibrating system 4 to feed it is inserted.

The device 1 also comprises an electrical socket protected by a sealed cap 11, to allow the device 1 to be connected to a source of electrical power to recharge the battery 9.

In the preferred embodiment illustrated, the device 1 also comprises a flexible covering layer 12 applied externally to the cap 2, or applied to the external surface of the cap 2.

This covering element 12 covers the vibrating elements 5, which are thus interposed between the hood 2 and the covering layer.

This configuration has the function of protecting the vibrating elements from humidity and soundproofing the device.

In particular, the assembly consisting of the cap 2 and the covering element 12 defines an impermeable shell for containing the vibrating system 4, to prevent water infiltration inside the device 1.

This advantageously allows the device 1 to be used also in the bathtub, in the shower, in the Turkish bath and, more generally, in any environment with a high degree of humidity.

According to a further aspect of the present invention, the device 1 comprises an electronic card 13 operatively connected to the vibrating elements 5 to activate them selectively according to a predetermined sequence.

In the preferred embodiment illustrated, the electronic board 13 is contained in the box-like body 10 associated with the cap 2 (in particular associated with the external surface of the cap 2). The box-like body 10 constitutes a housing in which the electronic card 13 is inserted.

In particular, the box-like body 10 is shaped so as to define a plurality of compartments; of these compartments, one constitutes the housing for the battery 9, another constitutes the housing for the electronic card 13.

The box-like body 10 also defines a compartment in which control members 14 are housed to allow the person wearing the device 1 to control it from the outside.

Therefore, the device 1 comprises such control members 14 connected to the electronic card 13 to manage its functions.

Preferably, the device 1 comprises two separate electronic boards 13.

A first electronic card is connected to the vibrating elements 5; a second electronic board is connected to the battery 9 and to the control members 14.

Preferably, the two cards 13 are inserted in separate housings of the box-like body 10.

In this light, it should be observed that at least one group of vibrating elements 5 arranged in contact with a predetermined portion of the cap 2 (corresponding to a predetermined area of the skull or of the scalp) is connected to the electronic board 13 so that the vibrating elements 5 of that group are activated and deactivated at the same time.

Furthermore, the electronic card 13 (designed to drive the vibrating elements 5) comprises a programmable logic in which a plurality of predetermined sequences for activating the vibrating elements is memorized, selectable by means of corresponding control members 14.

The electronic board is expected to be placed in a container separate from the cap.

However, in the preferred embodiment illustrated, the device 1 comprises, in a single compact body: - the battery 9 connected to the vibrating system 4 to power it;

- the electronic card (or cards) 13 connected to the vibrating system 4 to drive it;

a shell (defined by the assembly consisting of the cap 2 and the covering layer 12) associated with the upper part of the cap 2 (therefore integral with the cap 2) and defining corresponding housings for the battery 9 and the electronic board (or cards) 13 . This shell is waterproof. In this light, it should be noted that the control members 14 (consisting of a plurality of buttons) are also covered with a flexible waterproof sheath.

Furthermore, it should be noted that each of the compartments defined by the box-like body 10 comprises a removable lid, to allow a hermetic closure of the components contained in the compartments and, at the same time, to allow access to the components themselves (for replacement or maintenance).

The device is also particularly comfortable to use and aesthetically pleasing, thanks to its compact shape and the fact that it is equipped with a sound system.

Claims (10)

CLAIMS 1. Device (1) applicable to a head to stimulate the scalp, comprising a cap (2) flexible and deformable to adapt to the shape of the head and provided with protrusions (3) facing inwards to interact with the scalp, characterized in that it comprises a vibrating system (4) operatively connected to an external surface of the hood (2) to vibrate said protrusions (3) automatically.
