The present invention refers to a bag for containing a product.

The bag is preferably, but not exclusively, suitable for containing a food product, also for feeding animals, which is preferably in the form of a granular product, or in pieces.

Furthermore, the bag is preferably obtained starting from a flexible film, in particular from a laminated plastic film.

The present invention is also directed to a method for obtaining corresponding bags.

Bags are known, made of layered and flexible plastic film, which comprise a front wall, an opposite rear wall, with the interposition, in the respective lateral areas, of respective bellows, defining the lateral sides of the bag, in which the bellows extend over the entire height of the bag.

In these known bags, a product outlet is provided which extends over the entire transverse extension of the bag, at the upper end of the bag, and there is a convenient hinge, or zip, for opening and closing said bag. mouth, which extends for the entire width of the bag and the outlet mouth and which is only composed of a first and a second opposing flanges, or bands, supporting respective interconnection profiles, which are respectively fixed to a front wall of the bag and, the other, in turn, fixed to the bellows and to the central part of the rear wall of the bag.

These known bags, while allowing to obtain the opening and closing of the outlet mouth, to allow subsequent withdrawals of the product, do not, however, allow an easy dosage of the product towards a respective area in which said product must be poured. In fact, by arranging said bags with such a wide opening, when the same bag is overturned, to perform the dosage or spillage of the product, it is possible that an excessive quantity of product comes out in an undesirable way from the bag, with consequent product falls outside the area or container to which it is addressed, resulting in an operation that must be carried out with caution and slowness, which is therefore inconvenient and requires excessive time for its execution.

Bags are also known, made of flexible layered plastic film, which comprise a main longitudinal portion defined by a front wall, and by an opposite rear wall, with the interposition, in the respective lateral areas, of respective bellows, defining the lateral sides of the bag, with said front and rear walls extending beyond the longitudinal ends of said bellows, defining an extreme longitudinal portion of the bag in which said front and rear walls are directly facing each other.

These known bags have a transversal tearing line which extends for the entire transversal extension of the bag to define a wide outlet mouth for the contained product and a hinge, or zip, for opening and closing, which extends for the entire transverse extension of the bag.

In practice, with these known bags, without gusseted areas in the upper part of the bag, it is possible to obtain an easier and safer upper sealing of the bag once filled, which must be provided only between the front and rear walls of the bag, as well as a better release of the product, which release is not disturbed by the presence of portions of bellows corresponding to the upper area of the bag.

However, even these known bags have an excessive opening of the product outlet mouth and therefore have the same drawbacks as the above-mentioned bags having bellows which extend for the entire height of the bag and therefore do not allow to obtain a convenient and convenient delivery, or dosage, of the product to be conveyed to a respective area or container.

Furthermore, bags of the type just referred to are known, in which there are provided means for tearing said bag which are suitable to define an outlet for the product, which is provided in correspondence with an extreme longitudinal portion of the bag in the lateral area of this, and which is located on the extension of the respective bellows, and which extends transversely only for a part of the extension of the corresponding bag, maintaining a transversal extension less than the transverse dimension of the corresponding bellows.

These bags, while allowing to obtain a convenient exit of the product, which can be conveyed to a respective area, or container, through the lateral outlet mouth of the product, do not allow, in an equally easy way, a convenient opening and closing of the same mouth. of the bag. Furthermore, the outlet mouth of these bags has a width which is not always adequate for the dosage and size of the products to be treated, and is not suitable for general use and for a multiplicity of products.

Bags are also known, in which a bellows is provided to extend outside the bag in order to facilitate the release of the product. In relation to this front bag, however, it would be desired to obtain a better opening and closing of the outlet mouth.

A bag is provided for containing a product, in particular in the form of a food product, preferably in the form of a granular product or in pieces; said bag being preferably made of flexible material, such as layered plastic film, and comprises a front wall, and an opposite rear wall, with the interposition, in the respective lateral areas, of respective bellows defining the lateral sides of the bag; characterized in that said front and rear walls extend beyond the longitudinal ends of said bellows, defining an extreme longitudinal portion of the bag in which said front and rear walls are directly facing each other; from the fact that there are provided means for tearing said bag suitable for defining an outlet mouth of the product, said tearing means being provided in said extreme longitudinal portion of the bag, in correspondence with the lateral area of this, which is located on the extension of the respective bellows, and extending transversely only for a part of the transversal extension of the corresponding bag; and by comprising means for opening and closing the said outlet mouth of the bag, which means for opening and closing are in correspondence with said tearing means.

In this way, a bag is obtained which, once filled, can advantageously be closed again through the provision of a corresponding upper union, in particular a seal, between the front wall and the rear wall of the bag.

In this way, moreover, a bag is obtained which is easy and comfortable to use, in particular which has an outlet for the product which allows an optimal discharge and dosage of product from the bag. In fact, the present outlet mouth avoids excessive product leaks and defines means for safely directing the product towards a destination area.

Moreover, in this way, it is possible to carry out an easy and convenient opening and closing of the side mouth of the respective bag, with opening and closing means which are conveniently and advantageously provided.

Other advantageous aspects of the bag are disclosed in the other claims.

The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a corresponding bag as set forth in the corresponding claims.

The technical characteristics of the invention, according to the aforementioned purposes, are clearly verifiable from the content of the claims reported below, and the advantages thereof will become more evident in the detailed description that follows, made with reference to the attached drawings, which represent purely embodiments exemplary and non-limiting, in which:

However, as will become clearer from the rest of the present description, the present bag is preferably obtained, by means of suitable folding and joining, starting from a flat film, in particular in the form of a flexible film, made of layered plastic material.

It should be noted that, in the context of the present description, the term bag can also be considered as suitable for designating larger containers, such as bags, or the like.

In particular, to obtain a bag according to the present preferred embodiments, it is envisaged to use a film made of plastic material, or plasticized, with said film having a sealable face, in particular thermally sealable, and a non-sealable opposite face, on which In predetermined and appropriate areas, writings, colors and representations are provided, intended for the corresponding part of the finished bag, i.e. they are intended to define the front face of the bag, the rear face of the same bag and the side walls of the bag. same.

In the attached figures 1 to 4, a first embodiment 10 of a bag is illustrated, made of flexible film, in particular in the form of a multi-layer plastic film, which bag 10 is intended to contain a corresponding product, in particular a food product, for example food for animals or other, and comprises a wide front wall 12, an opposite wide rear wall 14, with the interposition in the respective lateral areas of respective bellows 16, 18, defining the lateral sides of the bag .

The bellows 16, 18 have respective flaps, or panels, 16a, 16b, 18a, 18b, having, in cross section, a "V" shape, which flaps extend retracted, with respect to the extreme lateral edge of the respective front walls 12 and rear 14, being arranged between said front and rear walls 12, 14, to which they are connected at the respective lateral edges 12a, 12b, 14a, 14b, where respective longitudinal connecting strips 126, 128, 146, 148 are provided , or welding, between the internal facing surfaces of the front and rear walls 12, 14 and of the respective flaps 16a, 16b, 18a, 18b of the bellows 16, 18.

Furthermore, said flaps 16a, 16b and 18a, 18b are respectively connected to each other, at a longitudinal folding edge, marked in the figures with the respective numerical reference 16c, 18c.

In Figure 1, for ease of illustration, the reference "L" and the reference "T" indicate conventional directions of longitudinal and, respectively, transversal development of the bag.

The bag comprises a main longitudinal portion 10 ', in which said lateral bellows are provided, and which is defined by the lower parts of the front wall 12, and of the rear wall 14, with the interposition, in the respective lateral areas, of said bellows 16, 18.

In the present bag 10 the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14 extend beyond the upper edges 16 ', 18' of said bellows 16, 18, defining an extreme longitudinal portion 10 "of the bag in which said front and rear walls 12, 14 they are directly facing each other and laterally connected to each other, by means of a respective longitudinal joining strip 124a, 124b, in particular in the form of a corresponding weld 124a, 124b for mutual connection between the corresponding internal surfaces of the front and rear wall 12, 14.

In practice, in correspondence with said upper portion 10 "of the bag, free from bellows, said front and rear walls 12, 14 are directly connected to each other at the respective lateral edges to define a corresponding extreme tubular portion of the bag.

The bag 10 also has a bottom closure 20, obtained by joining, or welding, the internal face of transverse counter-facing portions of the front 12 and rear 14 walls and the respective flaps 16a, 16b, 18a, 18b of the bellows 16 18. As can be clearly seen from Figure 4, said bottom closure 20 is in the form of a transversal seal of the bag.

Similarly, the present bag, once filled, has an upper closure 22, also in the form of a respective transverse joint, or seal, provided between the corresponding internal counter-facing faces of the front and rear walls 12, 14 of the bag. .

Furthermore, sealing means are provided for the corresponding end 16 ', 18' of the recessed bellows portion 16, 18, which are in the form of a respective first and second short transverse sealing band 43a, 43b, which is suitable for closing, in hermetically, a corresponding end 16 '18' of a corresponding bellows 16, 18.

As illustrated, the respective sealing band 43a, 43b is adapted to overlap the end of the bellows, to which the inner face of the rear wall 14 of the bag is welded and engages, by welding therewith.

In practice, the sealing band 43a, 43b which is adapted to close a corresponding end of the bellows portion engages and is joined to the respective end of the bellows and to the corresponding wall 14 of the bag, overlapping the end 16 ', 18' of the bellows, in such a way as to hold it against the opposite internal face of the wall 14.

There are also provided means for conveying at the outlet, which are defined by a respective oblique weld 45a, 45b, provided between the internal faces of the rear wall 14 of the opposite flap 16b, 18b of the respective bellows 16, 18.

Said conveying weld 45a, 45b serves to prevent the product from getting stuck under said bellows between the internal face of the flap 16b, 18b and the corresponding internal face of the rear wall 14.

Said conveying seal 45a, 45b extends between the corresponding outer edge, or longitudinal seal, and the inner end of the respective sealing band 43a, 43b.

Advantageous means 30 are also provided for tearing said bag, which are suitable for defining an outlet 31 for the product to come out of the bag.

Said tearing means 30 are suitable for defining an outlet 31 for the product to come out of the bag which opens only in correspondence with a lateral area of the bag and which, in the open condition, has a general circumferential shape, as illustrated in Figure 2.

Furthermore, as illustrated, said tearing means 30 are provided in correspondence with said extreme longitudinal portion 10 "of the bag, providing for tearing only the front and rear walls 12, 14 of the bag.

Furthermore, as illustrated, said tearing means 30 are provided in correspondence with the lateral region of the bag which is located on the extension of the respective lateral bellows 18.

For this purpose, said tearing means 30 extend transversely only for a part of the transversal extension of the corresponding bag.

According to a further advantageous aspect, it is also provided that said tearing means 30 extend transversely, or towards the central or intermediate part of the respective bellows, up to beyond the inner edge 18c of the respective bellows 18, or to a greater extent than width of the corresponding bellows 18.

In other words, said tearing means 30 have an internal end which extends beyond the longitudinal extension of said fold line, or internal edge, 18c connecting the flaps 18a, 18b of the respective bellows.

Moreover, as illustrated, the said tearing means 30 extend transversely until they reach a central area of the said bag, in particular which extends between the same bellows 16, 18.

In this way, it is possible to obtain a lateral mouth 31 of the bag which is sufficiently wide and, moreover, freer from any obstacles to the product coming out that could derive from the presence of said bellows, all to the advantage of a particularly easy product flow. from the same bag.

As illustrated, said tearing means 30 comprise, on the respective wall 12, 14 a corresponding tearing portion 30a, 30a, which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bag.

In particular, said transversal tearing portion 30a, 30a extends starting from the respective lateral edge, or strip, 124b joining the front and rear walls 12, 14, extending, transversely, in addition to the internal longitudinal edge 18c of the respective bellows 18 .

At the point of extension of said transversal tearing portions 30a, 30a, at the lateral edge 124b, means for initiating the break are provided, preferably in the form of a corresponding notch 32 provided in said strip 124b.

As illustrated, the predominantly longitudinal portions 30b, 30b have an angle, less than 90 °, with respect to the longitudinal direction of said bag 10.

As illustrated in Figure 1, with the bag filled and reclosed, said longitudinal tear portion 30b, 30b extends over the corresponding upper transverse closure seal 22, while the corresponding transverse portion 30a extends over the longitudinal lateral seal 124b.

The tearing lines 30a, 30b are, in particular, in the form of corresponding means for weakening the respective layer of material of the bag, and, in particular, they are in the form of thinning lines for the respective film.

Said tear lines 30a, 30b are, in particular, defined by pre-incisions obtained by means of a laser beam.

Advantageously, the present bag comprises means 40 for opening and closing said mouth 31 for exiting the bag, which means 40 for opening and closing are advantageously in the form of means suitable for engaging and disengaging each other, which have a respective first and second opposite portions 41, 42, respectively fixed to the corresponding internal face of the front and rear walls 12, 14.

Said opening and closing means 40 are provided in correspondence with said tearing means 30, or just below them, allowing an easy opening and closing of the bag, following the first opening of the same carried out by tearing the front walls and rear 12, 14 by tearing along lines 30a, 30b, with removal of the corner portion 10a of the same bag.

In practice, said opening and closing means 40 are in the form of a corresponding hinge, or zip, having opposite portions 41, 42 having corresponding profiles 41a, 42a which are suitable for interconnecting with each other and which are supported by corresponding flanges, or bands, 41b, 42b, extending longitudinally in addition to the respective interconnection profile 41a, 42a supported by them and which are joined, or welded, to the internal face of the corresponding front and rear wall 12, 14.

Advantageously, said opening and closing means 40 are provided above the longitudinal end 18 'with the corresponding bellows 18, or in correspondence with the area or extreme longitudinal portion 10 "without gussets of said bag.

Said opening and closing means 40 extend transversely to the bag, in correspondence with the non-gusseted area located on the extension of the respective bellows 18.

In practice, advantageously, said opening and closing means 40 extend longitudinally between the upper end 18 'of the corresponding bellows and said means 30 for tearing the bag.

In this way, an easy opening and closing of said mouth 31 of the bag is obtained.

As illustrated, said opening and closing means 40 extend starting from the lateral edge 124b of the bag, extending transversely beyond the inner edge 18c of the respective bellows 18.

In practice, said opening and closing means 40 extend transversely only for a part of the transverse extension of the respective bag, extending, inside the bag, substantially in correspondence with the internal end of the tearing means 30, and in particular substantially correspondence, or longitudinal alignment, of the inner end 30ab of the transverse tear line 30.

Moreover, said opening and closing means 40 extend parallel, or substantially parallel to the transversal tearing line 30a of said tearing means 30.

According to a further embodiment of a bag not shown in the accompanying drawings, the bag is substantially similar to that of the first embodiment, just illustrated, without however presenting said opening and closing means 40. In practice, according to this further embodiment, not illustrated, the bag would have, in addition to the aforementioned front and rear walls, the aforementioned bellows, the means for sealing the bellows and the means for conveying the outgoing product, means for tearing the bag which are suitable for defining a wide outlet mouth of the product, which means of tearing are to be understood as having the shape of the previously illustrated means 130 of the first preferred embodiment of the bag.

The following figures 5A to 9 illustrate a second embodiment 100 of a bag.

This second preferred embodiment of the bag is also made starting from a corresponding film, in particular a flexible film or multi-layer plastic film, and comprises a wide front wall 12, a wide rear wall 14 and opposite side walls, defined by the respective bellows 16 having respective flaps 16a, 16b, and 18a, 18b, which are connected to the front wall 12 and to the rear wall 14 and connected to each other at the respective longitudinal folding edge 16c, 18c.

In order not to overload the present description excessively, the components of this second embodiment of the bag which are similar to the components of the first embodiment of the bag are marked with the same numerical references indicated in the first preferred embodiment and, in order not to excessively weigh the present description, are not redescribed in detail. It is also understood that the lower part of the bag 100, not illustrated, is entirely similar to the corresponding lower part of the bag 10.

Obviously, also in this second embodiment, the tearing lines are preferably made through corresponding pre-weakened lines, or thinning lines of the film layer, which are obtained through a corresponding laser beam, like the analogous tearing lines of the first preferred embodiment. of bag.

This second preferred embodiment of the bag also comprises means for opening and closing the product outlet mouth 131, which means are defined by corresponding hinge or zip means, globally marked with the reference number 140, which comprise a first and a second portions 141, 142, respectively provided on the corresponding internal face of the front wall 12 and of the rear wall 14, as well as a third and fourth portion 141 ', 142' provided on the internal faces of the flaps 16a, 16b of the bellows 16.

As illustrated, the present opening and closing means 140 are provided, longitudinally or vertically, beneath the tearing means 130, extending in correspondence with the corresponding side bellows 16 of the bag.

Advantageously, the present tearing means 130 are suitable for defining a mouth 131, in which the product comes out with the bellows 16 in an enlarged condition or extended towards the outside of the bag, as shown in Figure 7, in which said flaps 16a, 16b extend laterally outside the edge of the bag, i.e. the edge of the front and rear walls 12, 14.

Said mouth 131, with an enlarged bellows, is obtained thanks to the provision of said tear lines 130c, 130c which extend over the respective flaps 16a, 16b of the respective bellows 16.

As can be seen from Figures 8 and 9, the hinge 140, for opening and closing the mouth 131, comprises, on opposite internal faces of the bag, insertion means and reception and engagement means for said insertion means, which means of insertion comprise a respective plurality of projections, in particular defined by the three projections Pi, P2, P3, having a respective enlarged end, between which respective receiving seats Si, S2 are arranged.

Said protrusions Pi, P2, P3 extend from a respective base, or flange, fixed to the corresponding internal face of the respective wall or flap of the bag.

Advantageously, in the closed condition, illustrated in Figure 6, said opening and closing means 140 comprise respective interconnection portions 141, 141 'and 142, 142', which are arranged on opposite internal faces of the wide walls 12, 14 of the bag and the flaps 16a, 16b of the respective bellows 16, which are in a mutually interconnected condition, as illustrated in Figure 9.

Furthermore, in the closed condition of Figure 6, the interconnection portions 141 and 142 on the front and rear walls 12, 14, which, being longer than the opposite portions 141 'and 142', protrude from the respective bellows towards the central part of the bag , are in a condition reciprocally interconnected or in reciprocal interconnection, so as to ensure a better closure of the respective outlet mouth 131, as illustrated in figure 8.

Although the present second embodiment of bag is particularly preferred, according to a further embodiment not illustrated, it would also be conceivable to provide interconnection portions 141, 142, which are of such length as not to protrude beyond the respective bellows, being only arranged in correspondence with the area of the respective front and rear wall 12, 14 which faces the respective flap 16a, 16b of the bellows 16.

In particular, said reciprocal interconnection portions have their respective opposing protrusions Pi, P2, P3, which are slightly displaced between them, according to the longitudinal direction of the bag, so as to allow the easy insertion of the same protrusions Pi, P2 , P3 in the corresponding seats Si, S2, for receiving the opposite interconnection portion, also in the closed bag condition illustrated in Figure 5A. In practice, with the present solution it is possible to keep the portions of the opening and closing zipper engaged or interconnected with each other, even before opening the bag, thus avoiding that said portions produce an unpleasant, and aesthetically undesired, enlargement effect. of the bag in correspondence with said opening and closing means in a condition preceding that of tearing and opening of the same bag.

Moreover, in this way, thanks to the opening and closing means 140 it is possible, following the opening of the bag, to cause said reciprocally interconnecting portions to engage with each other, in a particularly easy and simplified way for the user.

Advantageously, said opening and closing means 140 are extended oblique, or inclined, with respect to the transverse direction "T", by a predefined angle, as can be seen from Figure 5B.

In particular, it is provided that the opening and closing means 140 extend oblique or inclined with respect to the transversal T of the bag, so that the opposite transverse ends El, E2, of the interconnection portions 141, 142, which are provided on the opposite internal faces of the front and rear walls 12, 14, are longitudinally spaced apart. Furthermore, as can be seen from Figures 6 and 5B, the portions of the opening and closing means which are provided on the respective internal facing face of the front and / or rear walls 12, 14 of the bag and the opposite internal face of the flap 16a, 16b of the bellows, are inclined in opposite angular directions.

In practice, the interconnection portions 141 and 142 'which are provided on the inner face of the front wall 12 and of the flap 16b, and which face the rear part of the bag, are parallel to each other and longitudinally spaced apart, as are the portions 142 and 141 'of interconnection which are provided on the inner face of the rear wall 14 and of the flap 16a of the bellows 16 and which face the front part of the bag. Said interconnection portions 141 and 142 'being inclined opposite to the interconnection portions 142 and 141'.

In practice, with the present arrangement of the present opening and closing means 140, it is possible to provide a reciprocal interconnection of the interconnection portions 141 and 142 which are provided on the front and rear faces 12, 14 of the bag and which extend beyond the inner edge 16c of the respective bellows, which being in this way mutually counter-facing, engage with each other, as illustrated in Figure 8. Furthermore, the same interconnection portions 141, 142 interconnect with counter-facing portions 141 ', 142', which are provided on the respective flaps 16a and 16b of the bellows, as illustrated in figure 9.

Furthermore, said opening and closing means 141, 142, 141 ', 142', which are provided on the respective internal face of the front and / or rear wall 12, 14 of the bag and on the opposite internal face of the corresponding face 16a, 16b of the bellows 16, are mutually welded to each other, at the corresponding transverse ends 141a 141'a and 142a, 142'a, as can be seen from figure 5A.

In fact, said interconnection portions 141, 141 ', 142, 142' have respective transverse ends 141a, 141'a, 142a, 142'a, which are in correspondence with a respective welded lateral and longitudinal edge of the same bag, in particular these are the edges deriving, respectively, from the union of the wide wall 12 with the opposite pitch 16a and of the wide wall 14 with the opposite pitch 16b of the same bellows.

In particular, the said reciprocal interconnection portions 141, 141 ', 142, 142', which are provided on the respective internal face of the front and rear wall 12, 14 of the bag and on the opposite internal face of the corresponding flap 16, 16b of the bellows, have the respective transverse ends 141a, 141'a, 142a, 142'a, which are inserted between opposite longitudinal portions, joined together, in particular welded, of the bag, or between lateral longitudinal portions of the front wall 12 and of the opposite flap 16a and between the lateral longitudinal portions of the rear wall 14 of the opposite flap 16b.

Furthermore, said means 140 for opening and closing the respective interconnection portions 141 'and 142', which are provided on the respective flap 16a, 16b of the bellows, have respective transverse ends 141'b, 142'b, facing towards the inside of the bellows. bag, which are connected to each other and separated through a corresponding fold line. Said fold is on the extension of the fold line 16c of the bellows and is obtained when the same fold 16c of the respective bellows is provided.

In this way, a hinge, or zip, for opening and closing 140 is obtained, which does not provide disadvantageous elastic reactions and deformations to the bag, in particular which are such as to disturb the external appearance of the same bag.

The following figures 10A to 10C illustrate different steps of a process for manufacturing a bag according to the second preferred embodiment.

The process for making a bag for containing a product, in particular in the form of a food product, preferably in the form of a granular product or in pieces, provides for making said bag starting from a flat film 51, which is preferably made of flexible material, such as multi-layer plastic film.

The longitudinal areas 52, 54, 56, 58 of the film are indicated in broken lines and are suitable for defining the front 12 and rear 14 walls and the side bellows 16, 18.

As can be seen from Figure 10A, advantageously, according to the method, it is provided to associate, in particular by sealing, said film 51 means 140 for opening and closing the bag which are in the form of an elongated hinge or zip and which are systematically , arranged in an oblique or inclined condition with respect to the transverse T to the film by a predefined angle "a" and, in particular, such that the longitudinal distance "d" between the opposite transverse ends El and E2 of the opening and closing means 140 is variable between 1 mm and 3 mm.

The hinge is positioned on the film 51, in an extended condition with the respective flange or band, which is welded to the heat-sealable upper face of the film 51 and with the interconnection protruding means facing upwards.

Advantageously, opening and closing means 140 which are defined by a single elongated body are applied to said film.

Folding the film along the illustrated longitudinal folding lines leads to the configuration of the opening and closing means 140 consisting of the counter-facing hinge portions which is illustrated in the previous figures 5A to 9.

As can be seen from Figure 10B, according to the method it is therefore provided to fold said film 51 into tubular form and to weld corresponding longitudinal edges of said film 51 folded into tubular form, by means of the plates marked with the reference "S".

In an optional and subsequent step, illustrated in figure 10C, it is also possible to carry out a trimming, to eliminate a lateral, or longitudinal, "W" portion of the welded longitudinal edges of the tubular film, also obtaining the removal of the portions of the hinge body 140 in correspondence with said longitudinal edges, with removal of the folding ends.

For the further steps necessary for the production of a corresponding bag, one could proceed in a similar way to what is illustrated in the international patent application W02006 / 067617, or as illustrated in the Italian patent application B02007A000230 owned by the same applicant and the contents of which, to means of this reference, is to be considered an integral part of this description.

A third preferred embodiment 200 of a bag is illustrated in the following Figures 11 to 14.

This third preferred embodiment has a bag body having the same characteristics as the first preferred embodiment, while the closing and opening means 140 of the product outlet mouth are, substantially, as provided and described in relation to the second preferred embodiment. In order not to overburden the present description, the components which are similar to the previous embodiments are not redescribed in detail and maintain the same numerical references that have been used in the previous preferred embodiments.

This third preferred embodiment 200, which has a tubular-shaped upper portion 10 "of the bellows, i.e. without gusseted portions, comprises opening and closing means 140 of the corresponding product outlet mouth, which are provided underneath the longitudinal ends 18 'of the corresponding bellows 18.

As can be seen, with particular reference to Figure 12, which illustrates an opening condition suitable for the product to come out, in which the mouth 231 is defined by an outward extension of the flaps 18a, 18b of the bellows, in a similar way to as provided for the second preferred embodiment of the bag, the present opening and closing means 140 are in the form of respective hinge means, or zip, which comprise, like the second preferred embodiment of the bag, a first interconnection portion 141, provided on the inner face of the front wall 12, a second interconnection portion 142, provided on the inner face of the rear wall 14, a third interconnection portion 141 ', which is suitable for cooperating, or interconnecting, with the portion 141 on the front wall 12 and which is provided on the inner face of the flap 18a which is opposite in the closed condition with the said front wall 12, and a portion connection 142, which is provided on the inner face of the flap 18b with the bellows which faces the rear wall 14 and which cooperates, or interconnects, with the said portion 142, provided on the said rear wall 14.

Furthermore, in the closed condition of the mouth 231, the extreme portions of said portions 141, 142, which are provided on the counter-facing parts of the front face 12 and on the rear face 14, cooperate or interconnect with each other.

According to a further aspect, in this third preferred embodiment, the tearing means 230, which are adapted to define said product outlet 231, comprise, similarly to the second preferred embodiment of the bag, on the respective front and rear wall 12 , 14, of the respective transverse tear lines 230a, 230a, and of the transverse tear lines 230c, 230c, which are provided on the respective flaps 18a, 18b of the bellows.

Furthermore, the tearing means comprise, starting from the inner ends of said tearing lines 230a, 230a, marked with the reference number 230ab, corresponding elongated tearing lines 230b, 230b, which extend over the respective front 12 and rear 14 walls. , up to the top edge of the bag.

The present tearing means 230 are also defined by corresponding lines of weakening or thinning of the layer of material, in particular obtained through a corresponding laser beam.

As illustrated, said tearing means 230 comprise, on respective front and rear walls and on the flaps 18a, 18b of the bellows, a respective tearing line 230a, 230a, 230c, 230c, which extends in correspondence with the respective bellows, i.e. below the upper end 18 'of the same bellows 18.

Furthermore, the tearing means 230 of this third preferred embodiment have, on the front and rear wall 12, 14, a respective tearing portion 230b, 230b, which extends longitudinally, albeit inclined by a certain angle with respect to the longitudinal direction, extending, up below said upper end 18 'of the bellows and joining in 230ab with the corresponding transverse tear line 230a, 230a.

As illustrated, the respective transverse tearing line 230a, 230a, 230c, 230c is provided between said opening and closing means 140 and the upper end of the bellows 18 '.

Said longitudinal tearing portions or lines 230b, 230b, provided on the front and rear walls 12, 14, extend at the sealed upper end 22 of the bag, which is provided in the bag once it has been filled and closed, while the transverse portions or lines 230a, 230a extend in correspondence with the welded lateral longitudinal edge of the front 12 and rear 14 walls which connect to the respective flaps 18a, 18b of the bellows.

According to yet another embodiment of a bag, it would also be conceivable to provide a bag entirely similar to that of the third preferred embodiment, without, however, presenting the opening and closing means 240 as is instead provided for the third preferred embodiment.

A fourth preferred embodiment 300 of a bag is illustrated in Figures 15 and 16. The components of this fourth preferred embodiment which are similar to the components of the previous embodiments are not redescribed in detail in order not to excessively burden the present description and maintain the same numerical references used in the corresponding realizations. It is also understood that the lower part of the bag 300, not illustrated, is entirely similar to the corresponding lower part of the previous bag embodiments.

In particular, this fourth preferred embodiment of the bag comprises first tearing means 330, which extend at a first bellows 16, and second tearing means 380, which extend at the opposite bellows 18, which means for lacerations 330, 380 are substantially similar to those provided for the second preferred embodiment and said extend from opposite longitudinal edges of the bag.

According to another version, not illustrated, it could also be imagined a bag similar to that of the present fourth preferred embodiment and having, however, bellows which do not extend along the entire height of the relative bag, presenting the bag with an upper portion not gusseted and a main lower portion provided with said bellows. In this case, the first and second tearing means would be provided in the upper non-gusseted area of the bag, or in an area on the extension of the corresponding bellows 16 and 18, in such a way as to provide corresponding lateral outlets opening at opposite sides of the bag as for the present fourth preferred embodiment.

Returning to describe the present fourth preferred embodiment of the bag, the present first and second tearing means 330, 380 advantageously define corresponding product outlets, which have different widths to allow a convenient and corresponding product outflow operation. , for example when it is desired to provide different dosages of the product. For example, when you want to pour a large quantity of product, the latter would be poured through the larger mouth, while, when you want to pour a limited quantity of product, the smaller mouth of the bag would be used.

In particular, it is provided that said first and second tearing means 330, 380 have a transversal extension, or in a different width, to define corresponding mouths having a width that is different from each other.

In particular, in the illustrated embodiment, the tearing means 330 comprise transverse, or horizontal, 330a and longitudinal lines 33Ob, respectively provided on the front and rear walls 12, 14 of the bag, while the tearing portions are marked with the numerical references 33Oc transversal provided on corresponding flaps of the bellows 16a, 16b.

Said transverse lines 330a, 330a on said front and rear walls 12, 14 have a width, or transverse extension, which is greater than that of the corresponding transverse laceration portions 380a, 380a, provided on said front and rear walls 12, 14 of the opposite means of tearing 330.

Said tearing means 380 further comprise longitudinal tearing lines 380b, 380b, entirely similar to the portions provided in relation to the first tearing means 330 and the corresponding portions 38Oc, 3 8Oc provided on the corresponding flaps 18a, 18b of the respective bellows 18, which are quite similar to the portions 330c, 330c of the first tearing means 130.

Like the second embodiment, also in this fourth preferred embodiment, first opening means 340 are provided at the first tearing means 330, while the second opening and closing means 390 are provided at the second tearing means 380 .

These means for opening and closing the corresponding product outlets are entirely similar to those illustrated in relation to the second preferred embodiment and are in the form of corresponding hinge or zip means, which comprise corresponding interconnection protrusions and corresponding bands. support fixed to the corresponding internal faces of the bag.

In particular, as can be seen from Figure 15, said hinges 340, 390 extend within the corresponding bellows remaining slightly below the respective transverse tear portion 330a, 330c and 380a, 380c. Said opening and closing hinges 340, 390 extend from opposite longitudinal edges of the bag.

As illustrated, in particular in figure 15, said first and second opening and closing means 340, 390 comprise respective portions 341, 391 fixed to the front face 12 of the bag, which are adapted to cooperate or interconnect with the opposite portions 341 ', 391' provided on the inner face of the respective flap 16a, 18a of the bellows.

Furthermore, said first and second opening and closing means 340, 390 comprise a corresponding portion provided on the internal face of the rear wall 14, marked with the numerical references 342, 392, which cooperates, or interconnects, with an opposite portion 342 ' , 332 ', which is fixed to the inner face of the other flap 16b, 18b of the corresponding bellows.

Said portions 341, 342, 392, 392 of the opening and closing means 340, 390, which extend respectively on the front 12 and rear 14 faces of the bag are also suitable for interfacing and mutually connecting to each other at the parts projecting, in addition to the respective edge 16c, 18c of the corresponding bellows, as illustrated in relation to the second preferred embodiment.

Obviously it would also be imaginable, instead of providing first and second opening and closing means, which extend inside corresponding bellows, to provide a bag which has first and second opening and closing means at opposite sides of the pouch which are provided in correspondence with the upper portion of the pouch without gusseted areas as illustrated in relation to the first preferred embodiment.

In practice, first and second opening and closing means 340, 390 are provided, which extend in correspondence with opposite bellows 16, 18 of the bag.

Advantageously, it is provided that said first and second opening and closing means 340, 390 have a different transverse extension, that is, they extend in width to a different extent from each other.

In particular, it is provided that the first opening and closing means 340 have the respective portions 341, 342, in correspondence with the front and rear walls 12, 14, which have a transverse extension greater than that of the corresponding portions 391, 392 of the second opening and closing means at the opposite side of the bag, in order to provide a corresponding suitable closure of the corresponding product outlet mouth.

The following figure 17 illustrates a fifth preferred embodiment 400 of a bag, in which the components which are similar to those of the previous embodiments are marked with the same numerical references and in order not to excessively burden the present description they are not recomended in detail. It is also understood that the lower part of the bag 400, not shown, is quite similar to the corresponding lower part of the previous bag embodiments.

In this fifth preferred embodiment 400, the use of corresponding opening and closing means 440 is provided, which are in the form of a single hinge, or zip, which extends transversely for the entire width of the bag, or extends both in correspondence with of the opposite bellows 16, 18, which in correspondence with the central area of the bag, where the front and rear walls 12, 14 are directly facing each other.

In practice, this fifth preferred embodiment of the bag comprises a closure hinge which has a first portion 441 provided on the inner face of the front wall 12, which comprises a central portion 441a and the side portions 441b, 441c in correspondence with the opposite flaps of the bellows 16 , 18.

The present opening and closing means also comprise a portion 442 which is provided on the inner face of the rear wall 14, which has a central portion 442a, suitable for coupling with the portion 441a provided on the front face 12, and with opposite portions sides 442b and 442c in correspondence with the opposite flaps of the bellows 16, 18.

The present opening and closing means 440 further comprise corresponding portions 441'b and 441'c on the respective inner face of the corresponding flap of the respective bellows 1618 which is opposite to the front wall 12, as well as portions 442'b and 442'c on the inner face of the other flap of the bellows which is opposite the rear wall 14 of the bag.

On the bag, although not expressly illustrated, corresponding first tearing means 330 and / or second tearing means 380 can also be provided, as illustrated in the previous fourth preferred embodiment.

With the present fifth embodiment, therefore, opening and closing means 440 are provided which extend transversely for the entire, or substantially for the entire, transverse extension of the respective bag 400.

These opening and closing means 440 have interconnection profiles which are quite similar to the opening and closing means provided for the second and fourth preferred embodiments.

The present hinge 440 therefore has respective bands for attachment to the respective internal face of the bag and corresponding means for interconnection, or for mutual engagement and disengagement, which are entirely similar to or coincident with those illustrated in relation to the second and fourth preferred embodiments.

With the present fifth embodiment 400 of a bag, therefore, a preformed envelope or bag is obtained which can be re-closed on the entire transversal profile and which allows to avoid any risk that the product, even in the closed zip condition, will come out in an undesirable way. , from the exit mouth, once the same bag or envelope has been conveniently opened, as well as better preserving the product contained once the package has been opened.

Figure 18 illustrates a step of a preferred method for making a bag according to the fourth preferred embodiment.

As illustrated in figure 18, the process for making a bag for containing a product, in particular in the form of a food product, preferably in the form of a granular product or in pieces, provides for making said bag starting from a flat film 151, which is preferably made of flexible material, such as multi-layer plastic film.

Advantageously, according to the method, opening and closing means 440 are applied to the film 151, which extend substantially over the entire width of the film.

The hinge 440 is positioned on the film 151, in an extended condition with the respective flange or band, which is welded to the heat-sealable upper face of the film 151 and with the interconnection protruding means facing upwards.

Therefore, opening and closing means 440 are applied to said film, which are defined by a single elongated body.

Folding the film along longitudinal fold lines leads to the configuration with counter-facing hinge portions illustrated in the previous figure 17.

For the further steps necessary for the production of a corresponding bag, one could proceed as illustrated in the international patent application W02006 / 067617, or as illustrated in the Italian patent application B02007A000230 owned by the same applicant and the content of which, by means of this reference , is to be considered an integral part of the present description, as well as as illustrated in the previous figures 10B and 10C.

A sixth preferred embodiment 500 of a bag is illustrated in the following figure 19. The components of this sixth preferred embodiment which are similar to the components of the previous embodiment are marked with the same numerical references so as not to excessively weigh down the present description and are not commented in detail. It is further understood that the lower part of the bag 500, not shown, is entirely similar to the corresponding lower part of the previous embodiments of the bag. In particular, this sixth preferred embodiment comprises means which are capable of defining transversely opposite mouths 531, 532 for the product outflow, in particular mouths 531, 532 which have a different width from each other, in particular an extension in different width.

Said means suitable for defining outlets 531, 532, which open longitudinally to the bag, are in the form of means 550 which are able to join together the front wall and the rear wall 12, 14 of the bag, which means 550 extend longitudinally to the bag and are in the form of a corresponding seal between the internal face of the front wall 12 and the internal face of the rear wall 14.

Said joining means 550 between the front wall and the rear wall extend in correspondence with a transversely intermediate area of the respective bag and are provided only in the upper part of the same bag 500.

In particular, as illustrated, the present means 550 for joining the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14 of the bag extend, at the bottom, in correspondence with and beyond the opening and closing means 540. The latter opening and closing means 540 being able to be of example as illustrated in the previous fifth preferred embodiment, or similarly to that illustrated in the fourth preferred embodiment albeit with different lengths for the corresponding first and second opening and closing means transversely aligned with each other.

In particular, as illustrated, said means 550, for joining the front wall and the rear wall, extend closer to a respective side 16 of the bag, rather than to the opposite side 18. In practice, with the present joining means, or welding, 550, opposite mouths 531, 532 for product outflow are obtained, which have a different extension from each other, in particular a different width from each other, to allow to differentiate the dosages of the material.

A seventh preferred embodiment 600 of a bag is illustrated in Figure 20. In this seventh preferred embodiment the components which are similar to those of the previous embodiments are not redescribed in detail and maintain the same numerical references used in the corresponding preferred embodiments.

This seventh preferred embodiment 600 has advantageous means 650, which are able to define corresponding first and second housings, 651, 652 for a respective product, which housings 651, 652 are laterally placed side by side and extend vertically up to correspondence. of an upper transverse seal 20 of the bag.

This seventh preferred embodiment of the bag has, laterally towards the opposite lateral edges, corresponding tearing means 330, 380, which are able to define corresponding outlets for the product, similar to those of the fourth preferred embodiment.

Said first and second housing 651, 652 are provided with corresponding opening and closing means 540 positioned below said tearing means 330, 380, which may be of the type illustrated in the previous sixth preferred embodiment.

In particular, the means which are adapted to define corresponding housing means 651, 652 of corresponding products are in the form of corresponding joining means 650 of the front wall and of the rear wall 12, 14, in particular being in the form of a weld provided between the internal faces of the corresponding front and rear walls 12, 14, which joining means 650 extend longitudinally for the entire height of the bag, or at least up to the said opening and closing means 540.

In practice, a longitudinal sealing strip 650 connects said front 12 and rear 14 walls to each other, in correspondence with a central or intermediate area of the bag, starting from the lower transverse sealing 20.

In this way, different compartments are obtained, for different products, or even for the same product. In the latter case, the consumer could use a first quantity of product contained in one of the two compartments and only after this compartment has been emptied could he open the second compartment to consume the corresponding product. All this to the advantage of maintaining the freshness of the product stored in the second compartment.

The following figures 21 to 24 illustrate an eighth preferred embodiment 700 of a bag. In this eighth preferred embodiment of the bag, the components which are similar to the previous embodiments are marked with the same numerical references and in order not to excessively burden the present description they are not redescribed in detail.

This eighth embodiment 700 also has a first and a second housing for a corresponding quantity of product, which are marked with the references 751 and 752 in Figure 21.

In this eighth pouch embodiment, said first and second housings 751, 752 are, however, longitudinally distributed along the pouches, being longitudinally aligned or overlapping each other, and providing an upper compartment 752 and a lower compartment 751.

In particular, this eighth preferred embodiment of bag has first 440 and second 140 opening and reclosable means which are, at least partially, longitudinally aligned with each other.

Said first opening and closing means 440 are in particular and advantageously adapted to define corresponding first and second housings, in particular a lower housing 751 of the bag and a lower housing 752 of the same bag.

In practice, said means which are adapted to define respective housings 751, 752 of the product are in the form of corresponding openable and reclosable means 440, defined by a corresponding hinge, or zip, which extends transversely to the bag, in correspondence with a longitudinal area intermediate to the same bag, and which extends transversely for the entire width of the same bag 700. These opening and closing means 440 are entirely similar to the means illustrated in relation to the fifth preferred embodiment and are therefore not redescribed in detail.

In this eighth preferred embodiment 700, the first means 440 and the second opening and closing means 140 are longitudinally spaced from each other to a lesser extent, in particular less than half the height of the respective bag.

The second opening and closing means 140 are in particular embodied as those relating to the second preferred embodiment and these are not redescribed in detail either.

The present bag can be conveniently equipped with tearing means 130 to define a corresponding mouth 131 for the product outflow which are entirely similar to those illustrated in the second preferred embodiment and are therefore not redescribed in detail.

As can be seen with reference to the following figures from 22 to 24 with the present bag 700 it is possible, after having opened the corresponding outlet mouth, by removing the portion delimited by the tearing means 130, to open the opening and closing means 140 to make the a quantity of product contained in the upper compartment, without affecting the product housed under the opening and closing means 440. Then, in a subsequent step it is possible to open said opening and closing means 440 to pick up the product contained in the compartment lower, which remained substantially intact, during the withdrawal of the product from the upper compartment 752.

However, it must be understood that further means 440 could also be provided longitudinally spaced from the present opening means 440 to define a third, or further, product housings, vertically aligned with each other, or vertically distributed. In this case with further advantage for the preservation of the product in the lower compartments.

An advantageous method of filling a pre-packaged bag involves pouring a first quantity of product into the bag up to a predetermined height level, partially filling the bag, then closing and closing means 440, arranged above the level of the poured product, and a second quantity of product is poured into the bag, which lies on said openable and reclosable means 440.

An advantageous method of using a respective bag, housing a respective product, provides for a first quantity of product to come out of the bag, to open, therefore, openable and closable means 440, and to exit from the bag a further quantity of product, which it is housed under the openable and reclosable means 440.

The invention thus conceived is susceptible of evident industrial application; it can also be subject to numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept; all the details can also be replaced by technically equivalent elements.

Bag (10) for containing a product, in particular in the form of a food product, preferably in the form of a granular product or in pieces; said bag being preferably made of flexible material, such as layered plastic film, and comprises a front wall (12), and an opposite rear wall (14), with the interposition, in the respective lateral areas, of respective bellows (16a, 16b, 18a, 18b) defining the lateral sides (16 # 18) of the bag; characterized in that said front and rear walls (12, 14) extend beyond the longitudinal ends (16 ', 18') of said bellows, defining an extreme longitudinal portion (10 ") of the bag in which said front and rear walls ( 12, 14) are directly opposite each other; by the fact that there are provided means (30) for tearing said bag suitable for defining a mouth (31) for the product to come out, said tearing means (30) being provided in said extreme longitudinal portion (10 ") of the bag, in correspondence with the lateral area thereof, which is located on the extension of the respective bellows (18), and extending transversely only for a part of the transverse extension of the corresponding bag; and by comprising means (40) for opening and closing the said mouth (31) for exiting the bag, which opening and closing means (40) are in correspondence with said tearing means (30). 2. Bag according to claim 1 or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1, characterized by the fact of comprising tearing means (230) able to define a corresponding outlet for the product which extend below the upper end (18 ') of the respective bellows (18). Bag according to any one of the preceding claims or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1 characterized in that tearing means (30) are provided which are suitable for defining a corresponding outlet mouth for the product of the bag which extend transversely beyond the inner edge (18c) of the respective bellows (18). 4. Bag according to any one of the preceding claims or according to the pre-characterizing part of claim 1 characterized in that opening and closing means (40) of the bag are provided which are provided above the longitudinal end (18 ') of the corresponding bellows (18).
