DESCRIZIONE DELL’INVENZIONE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

La presente invenzione concerne un quadriciclo. The present invention relates to a quadricycle.

Scopo della presente invenzione è quello di proporre un quadriciclo che consenta al/ai conducente/i di effettuare agevoli e precisi cambi di direzione dello stesso quadriciclo. The object of the present invention is to propose a quadricycle which allows the driver (s) to make easy and precise changes of direction of the same quadricycle.

Un ulteriore scopo della presente Invenzione è quello di proporre un quadriciclo che consenta al/ai conducente/i una elevata facilità di conduzione del quadriciclo medesimo. Uno scopo aggiuntivo della presente invenzione è quello di proporre un quadriciclo che permetta l'agevole trasporto di persone. Con riferimento alle figure precedenti, si conviene di indicare con 100 il proposto quadriciclo comprendente due biciclette tradizionali, rispettivamente prima 1 e seconda 2, fra loro rigidamente ed amovibilmente associate mediante primi mezzi di accoppiamento che verranno nel seguito descritti. Analoghi elementi tubolari (57, 58) e terminali 59 sono associati alla seconda bicicletta 2. CLAIMS 1. Quadricycle, characterized by the fact that it includes: a first 1 and a second 2 bicycle; first coupling means (57, 58, 59) for removably and rigidly connecting the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2), to keep them side by side and substantially parallel to each other; second coupling means 31 for reciprocally connecting the steering wheels of the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2); support means 70, removably associated with the rear portion of each bicycle (1, 2), suitable for allowing the transport of at least one passenger.

2. Quadricycle according to claim 1, characterized in that the aforementioned support means comprise a first 71 and a second 72 folding seat, respectively associated with said first 1 and second 2 bicycle, each of which is adapted to assume a closed configuration, in the which the backrest of the same seat is in contact with the relative seat, when the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2) are separated; and an open configuration, in which said seat and said backrest are arranged substantially orthogonal to each other, when the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2) are coupled to each other.

3. Quadricycle according to claim 2, characterized in that each of the aforementioned folding seats (71, 72), when it is in said closed configuration, is associated with the luggage rack of the relative bicycle (1, 2) and is arranged longitudinally to the direction of advancement of the same.

4. Quadricycle according to claim 2, characterized in that each of the aforementioned folding seats (71, 72), when in said open configuration, is partially associated with the luggage rack of the relative bicycle and is arranged transversely to the direction of advancement of the said quadricycle 100.

5. Quadricycle according to claim 4, characterized in that the aforementioned folding seats, when they are in said open configuration, have the relative first lateral ends 70A of the seat associated with the corresponding luggage rack and the remaining lateral ends 70B facing each other.

6. Quad recycling according to claim 2, characterized in that the aforementioned seat and the relative backrest of each of the aforementioned folding seats (71, 72) have a rectangular shape and identical dimensions.

7. Quadricycle according to claim 2, characterized by the fact of providing support means (21, 22, 60, 61, 62, 63), associated with the rear portion of the frame of each bicycle (1, 2), for supporting the aforementioned folding seats (71, 72).

8. Quadricycle according to claim 7, characterized in that the aforementioned support means comprise first 21 and second 22 bushings associated with both side portions of the luggage rack of each bicycle (1, 2).

9. Quadricycle according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the aforementioned first coupling means comprise third 23 and fourth 24 bushings respectively shaped by the upper portion of the frame element of each bicycle (1, 2) which connects the steering tube to the area of the frame that carries the crank shaft, and from the respective front side portions of the luggage rack of each bicycle (1, 2).

Quadricycle according to claim 9, characterized by the fact that the aforementioned first coupling means comprise, for each bicycle (1, 2), a pair of first rectilinear tubular elements (57, 58), parallel to each other, the first ends of which they are respectively fixed to said third 23 and fourth 24 bushings of the relative bicycle (1, 2), and with the remaining ends of the same first tubular elements (57, 58) fixed to each other, by means of a relative first terminal element 59.

Quadricycle according to claim 8, characterized by the fact that the aforementioned support means comprise a pair of second straight tubular elements 60, the first ends of which are fixed to the aforementioned second bushings 22 of the relative bicycles (1, 2), and the remaining ends of each of the second tubular elements 60 fixed to each other, to define a support for the rear portion of the seat (71, 72) when the latter is in said open configuration.

Quadricycle according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame of each bicycle (1, 2), in correspondence with the portion that carries the rear wheel hub, forms two counter-facing frames 40, respectively external 41 and internal 42, arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis L of each bicycle (1, 2); with each small frame (41, 42) extending, with respect to the same hub of the rear wheel, on the opposite side with respect to the portion of the frame which carries the pedal cranks.

13. Quadricycle according to claim 12, characterized in that each of the aforementioned frames (41, 42) is affected at the bottom by a plurality of through holes, respectively rear 90, central 91 and front 92.

14. Quadricycle according to claims 8, 13, characterized in that the aforementioned support means comprise, for each bicycle (1, 2), thirds 61 and fourths 62 straight tubular elements, the ends of which are respectively fixed to said front hole 92 , and to the aforementioned first bushing 21 of the relative bicycle (1, 2); and with the remaining ends of said third 61 and fourth 62 tubular elements fixed together by means of a second terminal element 63, arranged substantially vertical, to allow at least partial support of the aforementioned folding seats (71, 72) when the latter are in an open configuration .

15. Quadricycle according to claim 13, characterized by the fact of providing support members (51, 52, 55), associated with said central holes 91 and rear 90 of the relative internal frames 42, able to define a support for the lower limbs of persons carried on the aforementioned seats.

16. Quadricycle according to claim 1, characterized in that the aforementioned second coupling means 31 comprise: a first arm 36 associated, in a removable way, to the lower end portion of the steering wheel of at least one of the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2); a pair of second arms 37 rigidly associated with the upper portion of the front fork legs of the respective bicycle (1, 2) so that the relative axes converge at a predetermined point P; connection members 38 adapted to connect the free ends of the aforementioned arms, first 36 and second 37, of the first bicycle 1; a front connecting bar 32 the ends of which are respectively associated with said connecting members 38, and with the second 37 arm of the second bicycle 2.

17. Quadricycle according to claim 16, characterized in that the aforementioned front connecting bar 32 is positioned horizontally and so as to be orthogonal to the direction of advancement of the quadricycle 100.

Quadricycle according to claim 16, characterized in that the aforementioned second coupling means 31 comprise: a first threaded element 33 associated with the front portion of the steering tube 99 of each bicycle (1, 2); a second threaded element 34 associated with the front portion of the fork of each bicycle (1, 2); a bush 35 externally associated, in a removable way, to the lower end portion of the steering wheel of each bicycle (1, 2) and adapted to carry said first arm 36 so that the latter is substantially parallel to the ground and orthogonal to the handlebar of the relative bicycle (1, 2); screw means 35A for fixing the aforementioned bush 35 to the lower end portion of the handlebar in an operative position, adopted when the bicycles (1, 2) are coupled to each other, in which said first arm 36 extends forward with respect to the handlebar of each bicycle (1, 2), and in an inoperative position, adopted when the bicycles (1, 2) are separated from each other, in which the first arm 36 extends towards the rear part of the relative bicycle (1, 2).

19. Quadricycle according to claim 16, characterized in that the fork of each bicycle (1, 2) comprises an upper bar 37C and a lower bar 37A having their respective ends respectively fixed to the upper end portions of the stems of each fork, and in proximity of the upper portions of the same stems.

20. Quadricycle according to claim 19, characterized in that the aforementioned lower bar 37A and the lower portions of the fork legs, when the bicycles (1, 2) are coupled together, are able to rotate with respect to a vertical axis Y, and the upper portions of the fork legs and the upper bar 37C are adapted to remain stationary.

21. Quadricycle according to claim 16, characterized in that it provides, in the case in which the aforementioned bicycles are used separately, a tubular element 37B able to internally engage the upper and lower portions of a fork stem.

22. Quadricycle according to claim 18, characterized by the fact of providing a pair of perforated plates (190, 191), with the holes of these adapted to be engaged by said threaded elements (33, 34) and by the aforementioned screw means 35A, to fix the aforementioned upper bar 37C to the handlebar tube, when the bicycles are coupled, and to connect the upper bar 37C to the steering when the bicycles are separated.

23. Quadricycle according to claim 2, characterized in that each of the aforementioned seats (71, 72) has the respective seat and the relative backrest having a box-like structure to receive at least in part the aforementioned first (57, 58, 59) and second (31, 32) coupling means when the aforementioned bicycles (1, 2) are used separately from each other.
