L’avvento del digitale terrestre, delle pay tv e dei canali tematici su internet ha cambiato i modelli di interazione tra il consumatore e i mezzi di comunicazione di massa. In particolare, la audio-visione di un contenuto editoriale non è in alcun modo scientifico collegabile alla audio-visione dei contenuti pubblicitari che vengono proposti durante quel programma.
