Multifunctional upright for tables and shelves

DESCRIPTION

The present patent relates to a multifunctional upright for tables and shelves.

The tables and shelves equipped with this upright also form an object of the invention.

In the prior art it is known the need to support table tops and shelves at a given height.

While height-adjustable supports are known, for example by means of screw means, there are no known polyfunctional supports capable of being used for different purposes, i.e. using the same component elements for purposes of different support, in particular:

- support table tops, support shelves, support both table tops and shelves in an adjustable way and differently spaced in height.

These technical furnishing needs particularly for kitchen furniture but also for office and other furnishing sectors are solved by the use of different uprights and different lengths.

The object of the present invention is to obviate said drawbacks.

This and other purposes are achieved with the present invention as per the claims, by means of a multifunctional upright for tables and shelves characterized in that it comprises:

- a base tubular upright element having a height equal to or less than the necessary height to support a table top;

- a base which can be dismantled to be fixed as a support foot to the floor under said tubular base element;

- an intermediate flange which can be rotated to be fixed on said tubular and suitable to be fixed under a table top or shelf which can be rotated; - an extension screw with an upper fixing flange under the surface to be supported, which can be screwed axially above said tubular base element to support a single upper surface and possibly with the interposition of said intermediate flange to support two floors (e.g. table / shelf) spaced adjustably from said headwork;

- a flexible and compressible annularly curled tubular sleeve made of plastic material to be fitted in said head screw between its respective upper flange and said tubular base element.

With this solution the following advantages are obtained:

- use of a single tubular base upright for table tops and for combinations of different tops such as, for example, a rotating table top and shelf above, or only a shelf higher than a normal table top.

Advantageously, said sleeve is technically and functionally acceptable and aesthetically and functionally protects said headwork in an inexpensive and in any case pleasant way, avoiding complex and expensive telescopic systems which are however limited in the excursion.

The invention is better understood with the accompanying description and drawings given only for example, in which:

Figure 1 represents an exploded perspective schematic view of the mounting system of the device for the application of support for two floors, namely the rotatable table top and the shelf above.

Figure 2 represents an exploded perspective schematic view of the upright structure without the intermediate flange for intermediate table support.

Figure 3 represents an exploded perspective schematic view of the upright structure without the intermediate flange for supporting the intermediate table and without a flat base as a foot which is replaced by a plinth.

Figure 4 represents a perspective view of an example setting for the realization of an intermediate rotating table top support and shelf above.

With reference to the figures, it is noted that the patent relates to a multifunctional upright for tables and shelves characterized in that it comprises:

- a base tubular upright element (1) having a height equal to or less than the necessary height to support a table top (7);

- a removable base to be fixed as a floor support foot (3-33,31, 32) under said tubular base element (1); - a rotatable intermediate flange (2) to be fixed above said tubular base upright (1, 21) and suitable to be fixed under a table top or shelf that can be rotated (7);

- an extension screw (4) with upper flange (41) for fixing under the top to be supported above (8), which can be screwed axially above said tubular base element (1) to support a single upper surface and possibly with the interposition of said intermediate flange (2) for supporting two planes (7-8) adjustably spaced from said screw (4);

- a flexible and compressible annularly curled tubular sleeve made of plastic material (6) to be fitted into said headwork and its cover (6) between its respective upper flange (41) and said base tubular element (1).

It is understood that with this simple and original low-cost solution the same elements are used interchangeably for a plurality of functions with notable advantages not only in terms of space in storage and transport but also for the respective standardization of production elements and cost compression.

Should the sheath 6 be excessively long, nothing prevents its shortening.

Advantageously, two bushings of plastic material or rubber or other similar material (5) are screwed onto the screw of the headwork, one above and one below which allow the fitting of the bellows protection sheath (6) in a guided and centered way.

Claims (3)

CLAIMS 1. Multifunctional upright for tables and shelves characterized by the fact of including: - a base tubular upright element (1) having a height equal to or less than the necessary height to support a table top (7); - a removable base to be fixed as a floor support foot (3-33,31, 32) under said tubular base element (1); - a rotatable intermediate flange (2) to be fixed above said tubular base upright (1, 21) and suitable to be fixed under a table top or shelf that can be rotated (7); - an extension screw (4) with upper flange (41) for fixing under the top to be supported above (8), which can be screwed axially above said tubular base element (1) to support a single upper surface and possibly with the interposition of said intermediate flange (2) for supporting two planes (7-8) which are adjustable spacers from said headwork (4); - an annularly curled tubular sleeve, i.e. with a flexible and compressible bellows made of plastic material (6) to be fitted into said headwork and its cover (6) between its respective upper flange (41) and said tubular base element (1). 2. Multifunctional upright according to claim 1, characterized in that two bushes of plastic or rubber material or other similar material (5) are screwed onto the screw, one above and one below which allow the fitting of the bellows protective sheath ( 6) in a guided and centered way. 3 Table and / or shelf supported with a multifunctional upright or part of it structured according to the characteristics of the preceding claims
