Con riferimento alla figura 1, si e' rappresentato uno zaino 1 del tipo destinato prevalentemente ad uso scolastico, pur essendo evidente che le caratteristiche del trovato si applicano a qualsiasi tipo di zaino, inclusi gli zaini per alpinismo e tempo libero. Il corpo 2 dello zaino e' chiuso in alto da una pattina 3, alla quale sono fiesate superiormente delle cinghie o nastri 5, destinate ad essere fissate in modo reversibile a fibbie 6 fissate al dorso dello zaino, inferiormente alla pattina 3. All'uopo, le cinghie 5 possono recare alle estremità' inferiori degli agganci rapidi 8 accoppiabili alle fibbie, come e' noto negli zaini moderni.
