Abstract

Il ritrovato concerne un particolare tipo di sigillo espositore per cinturini, caratterizzato dal fatto di presentare da bande opposte rispetto al corpo del cinturino stesso due coppie di appendici sottili ripiegate in modo che le estremità non a contatto col sigillo risultino rettilinee concorrenti, essendo queste ultime distanziate tra loro in modo da permettervi l'inserimento dell'estremità di uno dei due pezzi costituenti il cinturino. Il cinturino va quindi introdotto nello spazio presente tra le estremità rettilinee di dette appendici sottili, consentendo così all'acquirente di effettuarne la prova al polso.
