Abstract

L'invenzione si riferisce ad una cinghia dentata, i cui denti presentano una determinata altezza di testa H ed i cui fianchi sono incurvati in forma convessa nella sezione trasversale del profilo; essa concerne, altresì, una trasmissione a cinghia dentata, costituita da cinghie di questo tipo e ruote dentate. All'invenzione si propone per obiettivo il compito di prolungare la vita utile della cinghia, con riferimento a trasmissioni a cinghia di tipo veloce, quantomeno non peggiorando, a tale riguardo, la rumorosità. A tal fine, viene proposto, secondo l'invenzione, che i fianchi della cinghia siano incurvati in forma convessa, quantomeno nel campo radiale compreso fra il 25% e l'80% dell'altezza (H) della testa dei denti in modo tale che tutti i centri di curvatura di questa zona del fianco della cinghia stessa si trovino radialmente all'esterno della linea primitiva.(Figura 1).
